Thanks for that link! I just listened to the whole podcast and it was really good to hear some of the stories I've either never heard or have forgotten. He made me respect Vaughn Beals even more than I did before! Harley could sure use another guy like him! I kept waiting for them to ask what he's riding now but they never did. Last time I saw Erik was at Gus's at Homecoming a few years back and he mentioned he only had his 06 Ulysses! I love it! As you get older that leaning forward stuff starts to hurt!

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to that podcast.

It confirmed a few things I suspected (like the buffoons in HDIs upper mismanagement) and reinforced several things that I knew. It also added bits of information that I hadn't known.

It was definitely worth the time to listen to it.

You have to wonder how differently things would have turned out for Buell if Vaughn had waited a few years longer before he retired. The water-cooled, fuel-in-frame Buell might have gotten off the ground in 1998 as intended and who knows where Buell could have gone from there.

I’m willing to bet that shareholders were defrauded by HD overcharging Buell for engines, thus hiding the losses at that plant.

Buell wasn’t killed. It was murdered in the first degree.

Just a brief discussion near the end. I gathered they're still trying to find funding to put the Fllow into production.

Finally had the chance to listen to it in it's entirety last night!

Brings back memories yet fills in some voids at the same time...
