As Nancy Reagan once said, "Just Say No". When I did like the KB, I'd never eat such a thing. Wrote some good poetry, and certainly dug my music a bit better then. Not to mention that blunt just LOOKS nasty. Blech. I'd rather a burger with a Krispy Kreme doughnut bun, no chocolate, and with an insulin drip. Oh heyull no. | ||

Chicken and waffles... your pointed comment is noted. I have no taste whatsoever. As to the future of humanity, I leave that to God's sense of humor, not anyone else's. I definitely prefer ladyfingers, or better, a nicely executed tiramisu. Pots de creme would do, too. Just glaze over anything I may say, as my eyes have done here lately. | ||

Ah! Tiramisu! A friend had lost nearly a LOT of weight on the "keto" type diet, ( Woke up while camping and he had a pound of bacon cooking, I figured he was doing a meal for the camp, nice. Nope, that was his breakfast ) and then at a feast they brought a tray of tiramisu to the table, and he snapped, ate the whole tray with one arm around it, with subliminal growling. | ||

 Just glaze over anything I may say, ... Taste is taste. Some folk like Lobster or caviar, or chipped beef on toast. Others don't. That's fine. I can ignore most pastries, and there are a few great local donut shops, ( that put Krispy Kream to shame... Except their signature glazed air/fat/sugar masterpieces, Those just Rock! ) my weakness is dark chocolate. And peanut butter cookies. And... Excuse me, I should fix my blood sugar....  | ||

OK then. Like the sweetness revealed by the removal of those bended stars and bars, THIS recipe is a show-stopper. I followed the America's Test Kitchen recipe, but this is essentially a copy. A LOT of work done properly yields a process and finished product that will make you a dang hero. Sux for me that I can't really partake, but I enjoy watching everyone else go for it! https://www.melskitchencafe.com/chocolate-flan-cak e-magic-chocoflan/ Watching the process through the oven window is great fun, especially with a good glass of red wine. Which does go well with chocolate. A primitivo or red zin ideally... maybe a tawny port, but that's too sweet for me. | ||

Ohhh... the humanity. I don't give a flying squirrel about their skin tone... bad taste, bad manners, bad behavior IS what it is. You can try and divert that topic towards the political, but in doing so, that's a cheap shot, Duc. Chris Rock is a ckkock. Will Smith decided to beeatchslap his dorkface in the dirt for disrespecting Jada. DILLIGAF? Yes, but only to a point. What I take away is both men are fallible. Rock could be a better comic, and Smith could have kept his cool, just took over the mic and then shamed Rock. Cooler heads did NOT prevail. What I hated most was the pallor over the remainder of the awards ceremony... the rest of the recipients afterward did NOT deserve to follow that shitshow. Turd in the Oscars punchbowl, freshly steamed. Oh well. On to the next teapot tempest.    | ||
