I've met him a couple of times, and outside of politics, I enjoy the stuff he posts on FB. There's a word I forgot... A little help here? For when you "read the paper" or see the news on a subject you know, & they are wrong/lying. You object to or call out their error/lies. Then the next article from the same source lies again, but without personal knowledge that they are, you utterly forget they are dishonest/wrong/stupid and buy the story unquestioningly. It's a common thing, I'm not immune. You have to both be aware of the phenomena and Remember to be skeptical based on performance on other subjects. This is separate from the distressingly common problem where no proof including seeing it with your own eyes can shake your denial of reality based on your unshakable trust in a charismatic person. | ||
