Blake... let me see what I can do. Currently not with very much "disposable" income, but certainly I owe it to you and the BW to throw in. What Lew said, in spades. ANYONE I ever see who has a Buell or any interest, love for the marque, or EBR, or anything Buell, I always send here. At this writing I've long, LONG since had my CityX... but someday I'll find my Ulysses, and I'll <need> the Badweb. Yeah... all I do as of late is flap my gums, so to speak, but that comes from a very simple, pure place in me... my heart, as a Buell brother. Passion and love for these machines, what they represent, is why we are here. We and I may tend to become involved in any other subject, and we may argue. That's what fandamily does, after all. In the end, we must RIDE. And to the argument that Blake presents, to throw some green on the Badweb table... well, that simply goes to the old, true Biker code. You never pass a biker who's broke down on the side of the road. Times have been very tough for me lately, but let me see what I can do. Might not happen soon, but I'll get something to you, Blake. Thank you for all your work, and thanks to your buddy Brian. Badweb is a true gem, a resource, and a community unlike any other I've seen. We must keep it going, for posterity, and for all the shits and giggles... !!  | ||

Blake: Rule of thumb for me is when Badweb is in the red, If I can't remember when I sent the last 50 its time to send another. Can you repost the paypal account to send funds to ( I'm too lazy to reread the entire thread) | ||

Funds sent. This site has been my home for Buell stuff since I found it in 01 or 02... there's so much good info and there have been a lot of good people here over the years! I mostly lurk and refer people to the site these days... But I enjoy knowing the information is still here. Thanks for keeping it going Blake. I'll get signed up for a monthly... hopefully $10, like the gym I use about as often lately, will help more than the occasional lump sum I've dropped over the years. | ||

Actually JUST got in, from Smoky Mountain HD (nee Buell), JUST MET a guy from CA who's doing the MSF!!! On a XB12R, 2007 (IIRC). From what he told me, he MAY have sat on what ended up being PWNZOR's yellow XB9R, back when they were selling in CA for 20K... !! Told him about Badweb. Name's Micah. VERY cool guy, new to TN, also new to street riding. I was passing thru, on my way home from having a new Metzeler mounted by my mechanic down the highway. I actually watched him doing his MSF rounds... AFTER he ALMOST didn't make it... his DANG muffler fell off below the header! He fixed it promptly, with me assisting (slightly)... we now have each other's # as well. God works in mysterious ways... indeed. Still have to post up about my old essay. WILL DO. | ||

Just checked the tally, it is now just sufficient to cover the 2020 & 2021 shortfalls. The small surplus will go towards 2022. The BadWeB will thus continue riding on into a bright future. I may just wear my PACBOG t-shirt this evening. It’s been 23+ years. | ||
