It was, and here began my hands on association with the Team Elves assault on the salt flats of Utah to break a world land speed record on a Buell RR1000. Not only were world records broken. Lifelong memories and lifelong friendships were made. Twenty years is a long time passed but I’d do it again in a heartbeat if there were a call to arms! 300 mph on a EBR anyone? Happy 20th, Elves.
