The audio cord died in my car...so I was subjected to thirty minutes of public radio. Scanning through one channel was a man proclaiming that all black people are in this country are property, because some public works money went towards some building instead of towards reparations. I found that relatively absurd, and possibly insane...but that's where we're at today. | ||

Sure it can be a state. No amendment needed. Just ask the Democrats. They do not care about anything except securing permanent power. Any law they don't like they simply ignore, challenge in court in front of leftist judges, or override with another law. SCOUS said an amendment is needed in 2000. This is 2021. Once the Democrats pack SCOUS the amendment will no longer be needed. - That's assuming they wait that long, which I don't believe they will. Puerto Rico will likely be a state soon as well. Why put two more Democrats in the Senate, when you can put four. The Republicans don't seem to be putting up much of a fight either. Law suits challenging Biden's Executive Order concerning ghost guns and arm braces should have already been filed. A Republican Senator from Alaska voted to confirm a racist radical for the DOJ. The US Senate just overwhelmingly passed an asian anti-discrimination bill that is I believe is unnecessary. The Democrats are breaking rules left and right to get Biden's nominees confirmed, and not enough Republicans are saying anything about it. The swamp is still full... | ||

That used to be the trend line. If you go back to about when I was born, things were not so good. Oh, Even with the last dozen years of 24/7 racist hate from the Agitprop Media and the Klan Party, the U.S. is far better than it was and if we can restore Voting Rights for everyone, and whatever replaces the Republican Party saves the day from the Undemocratic Party, I anticipate the trends will go back to more tolerance and less Di^&heads. That last just takes time. OTOH, if current trends continue, and we get the cities burning all summer, we'll be back to the late 1940's by 2024. They already are working on Segregation Again.
