They quarantine, they tele-conference and tele-campaign, and I'm sure they'll have zinc and vitamin D regimens to beat it back as quickly as possible. Their entire immediate staff either has been, or will be, tested and I'm sure there are protocols in place in case the President requires hospital care. But again - this is not expected. The President, despite his age, is in outstanding health. That, combined with the fact (yes, it is a fact) that the virus in general is MUCH weaker now than it was at the outset of this whole nightmare this spring, make it extremely unlikely that he'll need intensive care. Nationally, case counts are "up" (due to over-amplifying the virus in any test samples so it shows "positive" even though the patient doesn't have enough virus in their system to get themselves sick, much less anyone else) by 8%. Nationally, COVID *deaths* are DOWN by 16% compared to our worst period. Yes, folks...the virus IS getting weaker and the tests ARE getting overly-sensitive (to purposely inflate case numbers?). It is unclear, as yet, what the President's viral load is...I wonder if we'll get that information from the press releases? In other words...does he have enough of the virus on board to actually get sick? Or does he have a negligible amount of the virus, but by amplifying the samples as is standard practice nowadays it was enough to give a 'positive' result? This is not pregnancy. You CAN have a "little bit" of the virus, or a "lot" of the virus. And now, with the weaker strains...it takes a LOT to get actually-sick. | ||

Case counts are up and at 'unprecedented levels' locally (according to this morning's paper at breakfast). OF COURSE THEY ARE! Can't these idiots understand the simple mathematical definition of CUMULATIVE? In the history of the world, never have so many people been dead as today.... Sheesh. | ||
