Gretchen's just departed for work, I'm eating breakfast, finish throwing stuff in the van, take shower and depart here hopefully by 10, be at camp by 11-ish If you guys are there when I get there, I plan to unload the bike, quickly put a hammock up in "my" spot, and head straight for Jim's. I can finish the setup after lunch with a belly full of ribs. | ||

I stayed at the fire ring nursing wet oak to life with Crusty while a few buellers made their way to Shenanigans Irish Pub for dinner. The report upon their return was of great dining and that the wait staff were not ugly. | ||

Good morning youns! Had a much-needed late wake up (work has been whooping me lately), now eating breakfast with strong coffee. Temps here in Maryville haven't hit 50 yet, but it's a beauuuutiful day! After breakfast, prepping/packing to head to TWoS. Itinerary for today: Head to Benton's Hams for some victuals, then backroads to Tellico Grains Bakery for lunch. I'll arrive at TWoS when I get there. The PC has a full tank, brand dang new tires. Gonna spit-shine the bike, gear up, and roll soon. As I mentioned, my work has been brutal lately- my plan is to just ride, relax, mow down some world-class 'cue and other tasty things, and finally catch up with my nutter buddies. About time. | ||

Well, I have been holding off this massage hoping it isn't so, but it is... My back has been "out" for about a week. I had hoped at least to make it for the day on Saturday, but just getting my leg swung over the seat would be painful. Be Good, Have Fun. Keep the shiny side up and all that... Thank you all, I had a great weekend! Now I just need to figure out where to go, I was originally planning on heading to Florida, but it looks like they are currently getting hit with the tail of a tropical storm, and things are not going to get better anytime soon. | ||

Panama City, Florida has the whitest sand I’ve ever seen. Squeaks under your feet like dry snow. Super clear water too, one of the few underwater state parks if I remember right. Did some SCUBA dives there in the middle 70s. No storm there, panhandle is clear/ cloudy. Z | ||
