Pity, you hadn't offended anyone & it's fairly funny. Don't give in to trolls. It would be different if it was offensive by the standards of the community. Blake is pretty lenient, but nudity, porn, hate, etc. would make his site not family friendly. A cartridge with mocking labels seems fine. I love "freedom pill"! A rant on how the Jews are all liars would offend me, and I suspect many others. I skirt the line myself by saying Leftist Leaders are liars. Few have ever objected to that objective truth, that I recall, but I should try and be more diplomatic about it. Those that did tend to call me "names" they seem to think will anger me. Why they think I'd be angry to be called something I'm not, like a Jew or Satan worshipper, says a lot about them. I admit I'd prefer not to be associated with a Satanic cult, but I feel the same about the CPUSA... um, that might be redundant.  ( joke, the Church of Satan recoils and objects to being blamed for certain evil political Party policies ) | ||

Humor: For a joke to be funny there has to be some truth in it. Other wise it is just malicious. Nudes, porn, lies, false information, anti-Semitism, and racism; I think that pretty much covers the BadWeb no-no list. I do believe that an intellectual discussion would be allowed for those topics, but are limited do to the possibility of over stepping boundaries. Honestly, what profit is there when the argument is illogical. The Back-Fire thread is a place to go if you want to see some of the crash and burns from the past. Posting there is monitored but not policed much. If you have heretical opinions there is even a new place where that is allowed to be discussed. The one position for forum troll is currently occupied. (Oddly the trolls usually stay in character to the end) It does come open from time to time. We have a little turn over in that area, but no shortage of replacements. Crud, They even let me hang around. | ||
