I missed the gus' meetup tonight i guess, didn't even see it mentioned. I had a tasty ribeye and a couple fat tires at a steakhouse a block from my hotel. I left springfield at 9am monday and took the scenic route about 650 miles to St. Paul, 400 of those miles were in perpetual downpour. By the time i got to the motel i was ready for a break, plus it was 45 degrees and even though i didn't get rained on for the last hour or so,i was by no means dry. A pint of fireball was my main course that night. Stopped by SPHD to pickup a new seat and buelligan shirt this morning, which Doug was nice enough to cut me a great deal on. If anybody needs a low uly seat and isn't as picky about the shape of the foam as i am, you probably have two or three days to dig it out of the dumpster at SPHD, i even packed it up in the shipping box the new one came in. Then i meandered to milwaukee with a stop outside Madison to see some cousins and have a late lunch. Only 500 miles today, all dry luckily, but a bit chilly as the mercury didn't break 52 all day. After i got to the hotel i did a little maintenance, tires were a couple lbs low, oil about a half quart low, and did a TPS reset as my idle had started acting a little funky. I'll see y'all at the princess tomorrow morning! | ||

It's a conspiracy I tell ya. Everything was finally working out this year to go to the homecoming. Scheduled out of town for work yesterday but back tonight. Then the outbound flight got canceled and everything was rescheduled for Thursday instead. Hope everyone has fun. Maybe we'll catch some of you at Road America over the weekend instead. | ||

Ceigenberger, I know you were late finding this. Next events are meeting at the factory on Buell Dr. Thursday at 10:00 am and Bike Nite at LD's BBQ on Main St. Thursday at 6:00 pm. Brankin, Thanks for organizing the factory tour. I had a great time. | ||

I do hope that everyone enjoyed the tour yesterday. I had always wanted to experience one since I heard about the Behind The Scenes tour. And I had the distinct honor of sharing the experience with all who joined in! I did enjoy it myself. But... I definitely would've loved to spend some more time in the archives and see more of the Buells there or in the different rows/racks. Looking forward to today's fun-filled festivities! | ||
