It's the end of this month/beginning of December. Normally, I go on Sunday morning and then head up to the Dinosaur BBQ for lunch. Looks like this year I'll most likely be going on Saturday (which is when MOST of you guys go). Just figured I'd post this here to start the conversation.
First the built in drone, now a refreshed engine? They realllllly want me to buy one. If it comes in electric blue then I guess I'll have to start learning Cyrillic
Zak That is A10 Motor 650cc and A7 500cc twins predecessor to the egg engine A50 A65 engines of latter 1962-1972 BSAs.They where a work of Art and very reliable Too! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BSA_A10_series
Closest Ural dealer is in New Rochelle, but there is an official repair shop in Brooklyn. Not TOO inconvenient but I do wish there was one a little more local. Traffic in and out of Brooklyn is NO fun.
"Soviet designed"... IIRC the Ural was originally built from stolen BMW plans, maybe even a whole factory stolen from Germany and moved to the Ural mountains. Let's Wiki!
Quick scan, lots of neat history. I'll have to go back and read the whole thing. We've got a few around town, one guy has his painted with the whole Soviet red color scheme, looks awesome! We had one traded in at SMHD back in the day, I got to futz around a bit on it. Drove it in reverse all around the grounds, lots of shits and giggles. Should have taken it out for a proper test ride, oh well. Wonder how Mark is doing with his GW hack?

Got my usual post card in the mail offering a free gift at the show and $3.00 off admission. Cycle Gear is offering $4.00 off. Guess I'll use the Cycle Gear offer to buy my ticket, and bring the card in for my free gift.
The show is this weekend. I hope that you folks who go take a Lot of pictures for us who can't get to one of the stops. Please take a few photos of the new Royal Enfield twins. It's a bike that has caught my eye. And eat more than is wise at the Dinosaur. Have Great conversations and a wonderful time. I wish I could be there; but, like the Stones sang, I can't always get what I want.
