No frost - the wind was too strong. It was cold, though; 32 F (freezing) when I got up. |

I had a great time with you guys. Thanks to whoever put this together. And thank you all for allowing me to hang out and ride with you and for introducing me to Jim's Q. The ribs certainly lived up to their reputation. I managed to put almost 500 miles on the ol' Cyclone while up there on some of the country's best roads. You all are a great bunch of guys and hopefully I'll be able to join you again in the future. Oh yea, I'll never look at a candy cane the same again... |

I made it back to Indiana a little while ago. 505 miles in about 9 hours with 4 stops for fuel and one for chicken on Lil Red. I enjoyed getting to see everyone. |

I like wasabi.
The candy cane discussion was much darker than flavors. But I digress. Most of what happens at Buelltoberfest stays at Buelltoberfest. Crusty, The route I took home sent me through near 100 miles of twistys and 1 mile of near fresh chip and tar. Most of the hundred was exhilarating. There was this one 60 mph left hander that felt like it was a mile long. Then 405 miles of slab during which I went right past the exit for the falls. I stopped in Corbin for fuel and got right back to rolling. The highway pegs kept the pain off my knees while the headers burnt another hole in a pair of pants. It was all like icing on the Buelltoberfest cake. I kept finding myself behind 4 wheelers running very spirited to say the least. I saw very few LEOs on the way home. They were either busy already or being friendly at my fuel stops. Thank you for the help before leaving with Lil Red's battery terminals. My wife had too much alone time while I was gone. She was talking to a salesman at the Jeep dealership. My regret is not taking pictures of the scenery with the Fall colors on the way out. I am wanting to mount a camera with a shutter button on my handlebars. |

It was certainly great to see everyone, and make new friends... which is what these things are really all about. The camraderie that comes with the Buell brand goes deeper than the hardware itself. I'll be posting up some pictures tonight, was too wiped out last night to focus on it. |

Looking forward to it, Matthew! My neighbor 3 doors down took his Polaris 3 wheeler rig down to Murphy today, I insisted he stop at Tellico Grains Bakery on the way. Weather here is SPECTACULAR, gotta head to work in a bit, oh well. Good news, local, is that the fall leaves are peaking later around here this year- maybe I'll get a day off soon to just roll... |

OK, That is the top of the tree that fell onto my property while I was at Suches. The bell was on the property of the first house I bought. It has been in the back yard of every house I have owned since. On the first property there were 22 acres of woods out back. My three boys could roam all they wanted but knew when the bell was rang they were to get home. Never a problem. They couldn't get lost. All they had to do was follow the bell home. People that had the house built did the same when their kids were growing up. Their dad lived a quarter mile down the road and had a bell just like it in his yard. |

Made it home earlier today safe and dry, thank goodness! I had a great time at Twos meeting some new friends of the Buell community. Nice weather, Fun rides, Good Food and Warm Fires, Perfect week away from home. If i can get away, would like to meet up again in the future.
Ourdee thanks for the heads up, I found some of me "In Action" on the 180 twisty road https://www.redlinefoto.com/p993095588/hBAA24CF8#hbaa2379b https://www.redlinefoto.com/p993095588/hBAA24CF8#hbaa24cf8 (Message edited by Blue scout on October 25, 2018) (Message edited by Blue scout on October 25, 2018) |

"The view from the back porch of Two Wheels of Suches" I'm guessing that's Greg's rig, with the green tent. That's exactly where my friend Ed Nabors showed me to camp. Wow. Glad you all had a good time. |

Charles, welcome to the brotherhood of BadWeB. It really was great meeting you, and like I said, if you're ever in the Atlanta area, just call me up, you've got a couch to sleep on. (Message edited by pwnzor on October 25, 2018) |

Matthew; did you mean Charles? He really seems like a Good Guy and I hope he finds Badweb as addictive as I do. Charles; hang around; some of the all around best and most helpful people I've ever met are on this forum. I enjoyed meeting you and hope to see you again. Think about the Springfield Mile on Memorial Day Weekend. I've got a feeling that's going to be a really good race. |
