Ourdee; The soonest appointment I could get with an Orthopedic Dr. is on September 5.
Jaime; I'd have to be on crutches if I went. My leg gave out on Sunday after I got home from the rally and I almost fell down the stairs. I couldn't walk at all on Sunday night.
The other factor is the expense. To be honest; I can't afford to go. If I hadn't already bought my tickets for Springfield, I'd give the Mile a miss as well.
I was told to stop using the crutches at home unless I'm using the stairs (but I have a stairlift at home that I had installed for my wife when we moved here). When I go out, I should use a cane or a single crutch "just to be on the safe side."
When I can walk without a limp, I can put the crutches into storage. I'm heading to the Zero dealership on Saturday to start discussions on replacing the bike that was destroyed.
Nate, that's a "Maybe." Earliest I would think would be late October or early November though. I would have to take the K1200LT and that is one heavy bike; I'd want to be sure my leg was fully healed before I'd chance that.
The Brooklyn and Manhattan locations, however, are well within the range of the Zero.
