Matt, way to go, hitting the gym at night. I usually go in the morning. Sometimes I go twice a day. Occasionally three. Sometimes I go a few days without, and I start to feel physically ill. I renamed the john to the gym. It makes me feel better about myself. |

I've done morning exercise, and according to my tracking I do poorly compared to evening exercise. Catch is, evenings are harder for discipline since I work in Sales and *never* get home on time. Mornings are more controlled time-wise...but my respiratory and HR don't do as well in the morning. I'm not a 'bulky' guy, never will be, I exercise strictly for cardio and some calorie burn. Rowing machine, 1000m at a time at an average of 1:45/500m, or elliptical, typically an 8 min mile. Not bad for a 45 year old with two reconstructed legs and a past-collapsed lung, and a penchant for junk food (no candy...just a salty-snacker). I can't wait for spring weather to get here. I miss my mountain bike. I've got a nice 8 mile loop near the house that burns me 400 calories in about 25 minutes. (Message edited by ratbuell on March 30, 2018) |

Back home after my shift, basically powerwalking and weightlifting from 430 to 1145. Made decent $$$, aced my tables, and got my feet up now with a beverage to my right. Gotta do it again tomorrow, 330 to about the same time, then an Easter double. I RQ'ed Monday off dammit, I'll be whooped. I can run circles around the youngun's I work with, but dang if I aint getting old... glad my sweetie got me a hot tub. |

Crusty, I've been here the whole time. I was napping. I wake up every couple of hours to change the channel and or pee. That has me rolling to face down doing the equalivent of a 240 lbs bench press as many as twelve times a day. I suppose I could link an alarm to BadWeB posts. But then I would have to set up a filter to just catch the posters that I am wanting to hear from. I think I'll sleep on that! What was the question? |
