When My President… I Didn’t Take a Knee –

This is a good one to share:

When my president lied to me and claimed 4 of my comrades were murdered because of a video insulting Muslims…I didn’t take a knee.

When my president shipped pallets of cash to my sworn enemy…I didn’t take a knee.

When my president failed to identify Muslims as terrorists and Islam as an enemy of the state…I didn’t take a knee.

When my president claimed that a man who tried to kill another man who lawfully defended himself could be his son…I didn’t take a knee.

When my president defended a thug who bum rushed law enforcement…I didn’t take a knee.

When my president ordered businesses to spend unnecessary funds to appease a minority of people who need mental intervention far more than they need their own toilet…I didn’t take a knee.

When my president ordered that words ‘one nation under God’ be removed from the pledge of allegiance…I didn’t take a knee.

When my president lied to me and said I could keep my doctors and my premiums would go down…I didn’t take a knee.

When my president spent my tax dollars in foreign lands to interfere in their elections…I didn’t take a knee.

While my president sat by passively and enabled ISIS to emerge as a stronger force dedicated to spreading Islamic ideals by committing murder, rape and torture…I didn’t take a knee.

When my president allowed dictators and murderers to violate his red lines and continue to murder women and children with chemical gas…I didn’t take a knee.

When my president chastised law enforcement for their actions but ignored the violence in our streets…I didn’t take a knee.

When my president identified the weather as the greatest threat to America’s safety while Muslims worldwide are murdering innocent people…I didn’t take a knee.

While my president’s insistence that pacifism and reform in numerous areas of the globe would bring peace but instead led to the strengthening of those that seek to destroy us…I didn’t take a knee.

When the election of my president broke barriers never thought possible in America ended up being the high point of his eight years in office…I didn’t take a knee.

When my President told a foreign minister to bide his time because, “After my next election I will have more flexibility,”... I didn’t take a knee.

After my president sold guns to Mexican drug lords... I did not take a knee.

In all that time I never disrespected our Country, our Armed Forces and Veterans, or our Nation. I remained vigilant.
I didn’t take a knee. I got a new President.

I watched lingerie football when it used to get TV airtime. Those girls have heart and are pretty tough.

Takes a bunch of chicks in panties to stand up for the country.

I really want to ask the rich athletes. Who is the master they are kneeling to?

The lingerie bowl players don't surprise me. I have a very female friend who plays roller derby. Those gals are serious. ( unfortunately I'm like a big brother to her : ) ) She's also an Olympic class fencer who's gone back to get her Masters degree.

That reminds me, make a date to go skeet shooting between semesters

No, it is not systematic oppression. It's individual freedom to protest.

(Rumors of ) a team throwing a game by not blocking for a quarterback that didn't bow to their political views, that is systematic oppression. Arguably assault.

I support the player's right to protest. Feel free to go get a job at Burger King instead of your gladiator job. Feel free to kneel in servitude to your masters. While you're at it, feel free to pray to any gods you like. I will, as always, support you to their deaths those who would prevent you.

I also support those who protest against your views.

And it's so much easier to protest by not paying for an entertainment. So little drama. So morally defensible.
Do the Players want to force the audience to show up? Demand people buy a product they don't want? That would be oppression.

I choose not to pay for my own reasons, unrelated to the protesters. I get no SJW points, nor claim moral superiority.

I support the player's right to protest.

I support your right to protest their disrespect of your values. Fair is fair.

I agree that what began as a protest in support of a lie has morphed into a wide spread temper tantrum by spoiled brats.

I also think the Donald has failed to be clear about his displeasure and he has no more right to demand that entertainers be fired than his predecessor did. Bite me to both of them.

You folk, OTOH, feel free to protest with your wallet. You don't need to buy tickets or trinkets or pay to watch people that annoy you. Football or music or sitcom, your choice, your money.

Court jesters, that's all they are.

Someone should remind them.

The letter linked by needs_o2 was outstanding. I feel only I had faith that players (or the MSM) would read it.

I support the player's right to protest
I do not agree that they have any "right" to protest at a game. Their bosses are paying them to play football and would likely be successful in any lawsuit filed by a player who thought their dismissal for protesting while at work was unlawful.

But don't take my word for it, do your own little protest on company property before starting work.

I quit watching the NFL because the childish end zone celebrations we're beyond ridiculous and the protesting just reaffirmed my decision.

The problem is the Liberal attitude that rules - ANY rules - are based in -ism's, and are written by -ist's.

As in, the NFL telling players they must stand is based in RAC-ism, and is written and supported by FASC-ists.

Nevermind that rules are RULES. Don't do the job like you should? You're FIRED. Simple.

Wait.

That's just for working Americans. This is another example of the elite Liberals having their own set of rules.

What was I thinking.

This won't be popular, but the players have a right to complain just like we do.

IMHO the "problem" is 3 fold.

1. Patriotic displays, like "support you local police" socks, have been forbidden by the Monopoly. So.....

2. This is the Anthem. Disrespecting the Anthem, especially when it's really rich jocks, or actors, is really annoying. It IS THEIR CHOICE not to participate, unless... it's in the work manual, and it is.

3. the Original Protester Colin? whatshisface, Public declaration was based on lying sack of communist crap propaganda meant to tear the country apart and lead to riots in the street so the bad guys on the planet could do all the evil stuff we know they so desperately want to. ( America being a pretty happy place that won't go for that Violent Revolution Crap that sells so well in third world hellholes and European Aristocracies. They feel, in their dank little souls, that they are missing the fun part of destroying a nation and making us all slaves. )

And all 3 of the above are valid, and I think accurate, assessments of the situation.

But....

Consider the point of view of a libertarian who isn't aware of, or agrees with the lies CNN, BLM, and the Soros/Obama Evil Inc. ( I forget their registered name )

President tweet hor has no right to tell the owners to fire the players for a legal, Protected by the First Amendment, protest.

Firing them is up to the Bosses in the Monopoly, and they dropped the ball, being rich idiots in this context. Honestly, I suspect they were caught by surprise, and didn't have a plan for this. They have plans for "player on Drugs" ( what's his stats? ) & "player beats women" ( they've had to write those pages ) & "nuclear attack on Superbowl" ( Build bigger Stadium with taxpayer money ) but "Player legally protests some crap you weren't paying attention to" hadn't been considered. ( I could be wrong )

IMHO the best way to deal with this is to vote with your wallet, and ease off the anger, and crank up the ridicule.

My personal approach, "What Master are you kneeling to? Free Men stand to protest." may be a bit harsh for most folk. Arguing the facts that Colin whatshisface was wrong is useless, today. Nobody really remembers his crap, that's really old news.

Now, as far as the uncaring mob goes, it's about the freedom of the spoiled brat players to tantrum how they like, vs. Oppressive Government. And Donald the tweet hog is easy to call oppressive. Just pick and choose his tantrums.

BTW, if you want a nice Conspiracy Theory, Colin whosits is, I was told, a recent convert to Islam. ( I do NOT KNOW this to be true ) I do know he's lawyered up, and, please correct me, the REASON he doesn't have a job playing feetsball right now is that he left his old job himself. Presumably in hopes of mo money.

But. What if he doesn't care that much about the money, and his path is guided by spiritual advisers like his Mullah or Barry the Weasel? ( through an expendable minion, of course )

Then this whole mess makes much more sense.

Of course it's always tempting to blame deliberate evil instead of glaring incompetence.

Perhaps the example of Obama repeatedly claiming that the first he knew about the crimes he committed was when he saw them on CNN, And Hillary claiming she's just a shy, helpless, sheltered little gal, that doesn't know anything about computers or money, or anything, while her Dept "lost" 20 Billion Dollars, and she had 30,000 plus subpoenaed documents destroyed.. "Wipe it? Like With a towel?".....

Maybe that's why we are cynical about this debacle.

They have the right to protest, absolutely.

But not on the clock, when the "job" says so in the rules.

Break the rules at work, get fired. Period.

You're correct - the bosses dropped the ball (no pun intended). They should have canned the first bunch immediately, and cited the rulebook as they did so. But, they didn't. Why? We'll never know for sure, but I'm willing to bet it has to do with the lining of pockets.

So...vote with your wallets.

Watch baseball, or World Cup Soccer.

Better yet...go get some sun and PLAY a game of something!

But let the stadiums echo with emptiness until they get the point.

Sure...you can protest, totally legal under the Constitution. It's your right.

It's also our right to disagree.

Next?
