He used his external armor/pads to re-settle the bike, and pull the tires back on line. Looked like he leaned into it a bit. Damn strong. It's fascinating to watch all the racers over the years, and their techniques as they develop. V. Rossi in particular. I've kinda emulated Gary Nixon. Still, I gotta ride an old BMW fast sometimes. | ||

I used to love to take the big transparent, really thin plastic bags they use to protect dry cleaning,( super cheap and fragile ) and run light straws in an X across the bottom, put several birthday candles on the straws, and heat up the air with a Coleman Mantle lantern, and release it into the wild, to generate UFO reports. I've also made several of the paper versions with rice paper. Buying the pre-made paper versions with candle, at the convenience store seems like cheating. Come to think of it, I've been at least partially responsible for several hundred UFO reports. Remind me to tell you about one sometime.  | ||

Yup. When I was working at a riverside restaurant, one of us kitchen guys made a floating lantern out of a trash bag, some twine, a paper cup, and a fresh can of Sterno. Watching it fly over Henley Street bridge was awesome. I love where I live now, but dang if I'd love to live again in downtown Knoxvegas. | ||
