Some of you hopefully know NC Badwebber "U4euh", aka Jim Rainey. Jim's had some pretty serious health issues for a long time.

His wife posted this to Facebook this morning:

Jim is on a ventilator in icu. Lungs are not functioning properly and right side of his heart is not functioning. Has pneumonia on top of that. Has a few other problems. Gonna start tube feedings. have him in a drug induced coma. Not allowing many visitors mainly family.


That sounds pretty grave. Say a prayer for him.

Update from Tonya today...Jim has failed several cpap test so the vent cannot be removed. They are considering lung surgery today in hopes of removing scar tissue which should allow his lungs to expand as they should. He's still under heavy sedation as he pulls at his IV's and vent tube. The right side of his heart still not functioning.

Pray and pray hard that the docs can find answers. As of right now they say he is a mystery.

Yeesh. "Lung surgery to remove scar tissue"... what the heck caused that?!? I grew up with asthma, started beating it in my early 20's...
that just creeps me out.

Prayers up for another day that he pulls through. With his heart at 50% though, dang, I just hate that. Sounds like his overall cardiovascular is wrecked. And yes, BLESS HIS HEART. Bless those of his wife and family.
