Just got home from work. Changing out rocker box gaskets on son's 2000 X1 Lightning ASAP so he can ride with me this afternoon...and to see you guys at Roma's tonight!  | ||

Well, I can't post pics from my phone for some reason, but the hottest thing going on.at EBR is the EBR grilling! Every generation of Buell and EBR is represented, from an RR1000, to tubers, to XBs, to 1125s and 1190s. Anyone nearby, come out and join us! | ||

I'll be out to East Troy in a little bit. It WAS NOT the rocker boxes leaking...but the oil filter was loose. I sprayed S100 all over the engine, washed it off, and zero leaks. So I replaced the oil filter and tightened, at first contact, one full revolution. And now to button it back up. Changing the oil in the 1996 S2T now. See you guys soon. | ||

So here is how it went down. o I got the 2000 X1 Lightning buttoned up. o I changed the oil/filter on the 1996 S2T. o Went to pick up our son, Don, at his place, he was on his X1, the one I worked on to fix the oil leak. o We took off for East Troy and got to Roma's at 7:15 (20 minute notice for dinner  ) missed dinner! o Rode over to Gus's, nobody there o Rode over to the factory, nobody there o Rode over to Loose1's campsite, nobody there o Rode back home with the boy and stopped at Culver's. Sometimes I really miss having a cellphone  And, wait for it, the 2000 X1 Lightning STILL LEAKS OIL  But here's the good part...I won't miss breakfast cause it's here at our home. AND I'M HERE NOW, SO I WON'T MISS THAT!!!!!  | ||
