You all believe that? It seems Saturday is his big day. Personally I think he is turning forty and is claiming fifty so that he can claim he looks younger than his actual age!   Congratulations Brad! You have crossed over to the time line where "happy birthday" becomes "congratulations". It is where you celebrate still being alive for another year becoming more important than just adding another number to your life's collection of years.  | ||

Holy Cannoli!  I love wacky stickers- if you look at my truck, the whole back end and lower section of the window is covered... I've got one (one of those biker helmet types) that says "If I'd known I was gonna live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself". So far, so good! Vern, thanks to you and all my BW buddies I've come to know, these past 50 years have been great! Love you all, friends... if you can make it to Mur-vil TN, we're putting on a shindig tomorrow!  | ||

The other day I had a delivery driver ask if I was over 21 to sign for a package. I'm almost twice that...though I like to pretend I'm in my 20's...which these days has resulted in the swift onset of pain and suffering  I just turned 40 this year. Last year was the first year my body protested doing young things  Growing old is certainly not for the meek, as the saying goes. | ||

..Happy Birthday...i'll be turning the ripe ole age of 63 tomorrow...amazing i've lasted this long....expecially with what has happened to me just last year..almost died back in February and then to deal with cancer....and who says life's boring...hah....not mine for sure.....LT | ||

I'm doing fine... my coffee doesn't seem to help much today though. My buddy Delbert cooked enough food to feed the entire neighborhood! I managed to dominate a cornhole tournament, going into the early evening hours... No chance to play Firepit Jenga though- oh well. Thanks to all of you for your well-wishes!  | ||

Whoops, sorry Dave! C'mon, what's another name for that game?! Got the pepper plants in the garden TODAY, still whooped from yesterday. Good news is, my honey bought me an inflatable hot tub for my Bday, about a month ago... it's dang surprising how awesome that is for less than $400... I recommend a La-Z-Spa Miami or one of their bigger models highly!! | ||
