Ann's in the hospital. She had a "heavy" left arm. With pains in her chest. They took blood, came back good. They gave her nitroglycerin, and that stopped the pain in her chest. They are keeping her overnight, because that helped. They seem to be taking it seriously, but are telling me not to worry. Stress test in the morning. There may be other things they told me, but I can't remember. I had to come home to get her things, and right now I'm waiting for Phil (Smokescreen) to carry me back up there. (I hate not having my bike and a driving license) Keep her in your thoughts a prayers please. I'll let y'all know what's up, when I know. Thanks so much. I love you all. |

Thanks y'all! Ann woke up with no pain anymore. They just took her for a stress test, and a echo cardiogram. Said they'd have her back in about three hours. She's handling this much better than I am! We're at Northside hospital in Forsyth. 5 stars so far! I worked with Mike (Shred) on this hospital. It's kinda nice to see this place complete. More after while |

Dave, the two of you are a shining example of strength. My only frustration with hearing this is we're too far away to offer more. Give her a hug for Sunny and me. |

So far so good. We're waiting for the doctor to tell us about the tests. She must have done good, they're talking about going home. Thanks Steve! And y'all aren't too far away, because y'all have helped so much just being with us in spirit. One observation: TV sucks! It maybe worse now than when I gave it up. Is every channel a reality show? How can intelligent people stand this crap? Rant over |

Yeah, TV sux. We watch a LOT of the #3 PBS station locally- all about travel shows and cooking shows, can't go wrong. Otherwise, Hulu/Amazon/Netflix streaming... I pay for cable access, NOT cable TV. Dave, just keep us posted, and we'll keep the good mojo flowing, friend. |

Dave, did Ann see Dr. Rowe at Northside? |

Good news and good luck. Yes, TV sucks. ( at the same time there is some great stuff. On HBO, Netflix, etc ) "Reality" shows are a pox on the bum of civilization. A few years back I was in the GI ward at the hospital for nearly a week. ( Tummy trouble section ) Every tv in every room had the Food Network on. It was a mass masochism festival. Guy next door is telling me "tomorrow they'll let me have broth" while on his tv Emeril Lagasse is cooking a rack of lamb, "BAM!". |

Dr Rowe sounds familiar. But I really dont know right now. I have some short term memory issues still. Its the new norm. Now that we're home its up to me I reckon, to keep her from over doing everything. As y'all are aware, Ann is a doer, and she don't stop...ever. I'm probably going to get in trouble for letting her sleep in. she wants to go into work today. Thyroid was mentioned She has to follow up with our regular doctor, and she has a list of things she needs to get checked out. This insurance bullshit is bullshit. We've had to change companies twice to keep my neurologist. And that has caused some difficulties. Our PC physician said it, and retired, and that caused some difficulties. TV... what a waste of time We quit more than 10 years ago, and when I see TV at someones house, it just makes me happy to see I'm not missing a thing! One girl that was trying to sell us a TV subscription, and when I told her we didn't subscribe to TV, she said "No TV? What do y'all do?" I said, we don't watch TV. She looked confused. Anyway Thanks to y'all, I for the most part, kept it together, and carried on. Ann is a wonderful girl, she really is. I'd be lost without her, it only became more clear these past couple days. I love her and dont deserve her, but I'll keep her all the same. Thanks again y'all. I owe a lot to all of BadWeB. Y'all are the best. |

I ask about Dr Rowe because he was the on-call cardiologist for Northside Forsyth on the day Ann was there. Gretchen works at Atlanta Heart Specialists which is the cardio clinic on the premises, and all the on call cardiologists come from her office. Again, if there is any way we can help, be it gathering information or speeding up prescriptions or whatever... just let me know. |

I made it almost ten years without a TV. Then one day I see a guy dumping his trash in the bank dumpster next door. He says he will give me the TV in the back of his truck... a bribe? OK! The day was 9/10/2001.... |

Got rid of my TV at the end of 93. Raised three boys that read books all the time. I just stocked the shelves, read to them , and never told them to read. When I go somewhere and see TV, I have trouble understanding how people put up with the programming. Ann, Relax a little. Who will take care of the Glitch, if you don't take care of yourself? Glad you are feeling better. Hang in there! ,R.D. |
