It was great!

I'm watching MSNBC, why are they still saying President Trump wants a Muslim ban?? Why are they saying he doesn't want immigrants coming the this country?? Unbelievable!! Are they on drugs?? Shameful. But I guess for a tv show (not news) it's getting some viewership.

President Trump hits it out of the park in straightaway center field.

The democrats' official response (besides sitting on their hands, wearing their white KKK robes ((I guess they thought this would be less obvious than wearing pussy hats?)) and then literally BOLTING after P45's speech)?

An infomercial!

quote:

It was obvious Mrs. Owens felt her husband’s presence with her. She has been through so much and her grief is still so raw and vulnerable. We hope she not only felt her husband there with her but also the enormous gratitude our nation has for her sacrifice which she must live with the rest of her life and the ultimate sacrifice her dear husband paid for each of us. It was fitting that President Trump reminded us all of Jesus’ words, ‘no greater love than for a man to lay down his life for his friends’. We are those friends.

While it was a emotional, humbling moment for every American in that room and for all of us watching in our homes across the country and, our military watching around the world, it was a beautiful sight to see the love an American wife has for her soldier, a love that will never die. It was beautiful to see her so unashamed to show the world what courage looks like.

We were all blessed to share such a private time in Mrs. Owens’ life. For every person, friend or foe on this earth that doesn’t understand why Americans are so proud to wear that title, why we’re so determined to fly Old Glory and will fight for that right, why we believe this nation God gave us is worth living to build up, and worth laying down our lives to protect, watch that interaction between Mrs. Owens and the American people. Mrs. Owens and her American hero husband, Ryan Owens, exemplify just exactly what “Land of the free and home of the brave” means.

God bless your heart and soul, Mrs. Owens. America weeps with you and all others that have sacrificed everything so we can live in peace. We hope you felt the loving arms of a grateful nation around you. Thank you for giving the world pause from our daily trivial complaints, and reminding us fools are destroyed by their own complacency. Where your beloved Ryan left off as an American soldier, others stand to continue his mission. There are no words of gratitude suitable, no compassion we can offer that brings relief, but God’s love and care for you will in the right time bring healing and peace.

It was an amazing speech. Extremely well presented, no yelling, no "look at me". I voted for the man...and *I* was impressed.

And I admit I flat-out LOVED the "you shot my dog" look on the faces of the Dems.

The tribute to Mrs. Owens and the late Senior Chief Petty Officer Owens brought tears to my eyes. First, when she remained seated as she was introduced - more, when she stood and applauded after the President of the United States of America told her, in no uncertain terms on (inter)national television...that her husband was a hero whose sacrifice will enable the USA to win more battles in the future.

This...is the start of the wake-up call this country has needed. The snowball who had a chance in hell...is rolling downhill and is now about the size of a bowling ball. And growing.

Even the MSM wasn't...awful. They're starting, at least, to acknowledge the fact that there IS another side to things. That people DO support him and the Republicans. And that...maybe...possibly...there's something to all this.

Although they're still not listening when it comes to ILLEGAL immigration (the merit-based system makes too much sense and it's about time the USA did something like that!), and health care (fact of that matter is, rates HAVE gone through the roof and the system does NOT work)...but some progress is better than none.

I started to watch the speech on Fox last night but figured "nah...lemme go to the enemy" and switched to NBC to see how bad they hit him. They weren't hateful. Still remnants of the 5 year old kid holding his breath because he wants a cookie...but the kid is starting to lose focus it seems.

Some of the fears that I have been hearing were about Trump being about Trump. In it for himself. I am seeing the opposite. A real patriot in it for America.

I still have some mild fears of him being in it for himself. Then again, I understand that he understands that making American companies more competitive in the world will do yuge things for his personal empire. I have zero problem with that. It's a win-win!

DOW 21,000 at the open today! YUGE! Will the MSM continue to ignore this?

From the transcript of today's press gaggle at the White House:

quote:

Q: Sean, the Dow Jones crossed 21,000 for the first time today.

MR. SPICER: It did.

Q: Does the White House believe that that’s a reaction to the President’s speech last night?

MR. SPICER: (Laughter.) Look, I’m not an economist. I don’t want to — I know the Dow goes up and down, as well as the other indexes, and I don’t want to get in the habit of commenting every time the Dow hits. But I think that you’ve seen a sustained economic boon since the President was elected. He commented on it last night.

I think you’re seeing not just the Dow react, but manufacturers, business leaders, folks from small and large companies talk about it. And I think that there is a renewed sense of wanting to business, and of economic growth and optimism. You’ve seen it in not just in the indexes on a day-to-day basis as they go up and down, but also in the confidence numbers that show that there is a continued growth in the confidence in our economy and our market and our policies.

Look, I don’t want to tie a direct link. I think that that’s — you know, we could go back and forth every day about where the market stands at any given time in a day. But I would have to believe that when you talk to a lot of economists, they — and frankly, not just the economists who look at it academically and try to parse it, but when you talk to these company CEOs and leaders that he’s talking to, there is a renewed sense of confidence in their country, in the agenda, in the desire to hire and grow and expand in the United States, and I can only see that as a positive sign, not just for the market, but for our entire economy.

(Via AP) Ryan Zinke has been sworn in as interior secretary, giving him oversight of 400 million acres of public land, most of it in the West. The 55-year-old Montana native and former Navy SEAL has also pledged to tackle the estimated $12 billion backlog in maintenance and repairs at national parks.

With Zinke’s approval, the Senate has confirmed 16 out of 22 of Trump’s Cabinet and Cabinet-level nominations. Senate confirmation votes are pending on Trump’s nominees to head the departments of Housing and Urban Development, Agriculture and Labor, along with the posts of U.S. trade representative and the director of national intelligence. Watching President Trump's address to congress; so many democrats don't know what to do with their hands. You can see them discussing with eachother, "do we clap for this issue?" He's doing things to help the citizens of the USA and these beta males and females are up there trying to figure out whether their actions should convey that they support the American public or the democratic politburo. Phonies.
Just as many on the right are phonies, I have no doubt. It's just fun to watch the left squirm in their seats.

I think Trump is, as was evidenced by the speech the other night, restoring confidence in American's view of our collective future.

If he does half of what he indicates, creates "millions" (his words) of jobs, builds pipelines with American Made pipe, come through on that $1,000,000,000,000 of infrastructure spending . . . . it's going to be a return to the American economy that was the envy of the world.

By lowering taxes and dispatching useless (not the ones we need) regulations and creating demand for American goods and labor . . . these "millions" of new participants in the work force will be paying state, federal and sales taxes that should both fund the growth and do much to diminish the national debt.

When America works . . . everybody wins. I had a decent year (earnings down about 30% but they'll go way up this year) but the enthusiasm and markets are fueling incredible demand for construction services.

I started my own ballers rolling, to help the economy, by buying 2 new cars so far this year. That money goes to workers, plants and vendors who all pay taxes and contribute.

It starts with attitude.

Obama made us, as he toured the world apologizing for America and Americans, us feel collectively like a bunch of heels.

It's nice to "be back".

I'm also optimistic.

I left my job about a month ago, so I could handle some projects (mainly a rental apartment renovation) that simply weren't getting done...and need to be finished. I'm losing tens of thousands of dollars not having this apartment done and rented. So...I made a choice.

And, I'm not scared about finding a new "day gig" when the time comes. There's a lot out there. My sound company continues to grow - without any advertising whatsoever! Once I get the apartment done, there's more income there.

I think this will be good for all of us...if the Dems decide to either play along for the good of the country (and screw "party affiliations"), or just get the hell out of the way and let it happen.

I'm more optimistic now - technically "unemployed" - than I was when I was working and making a "good" income.

There's no way the Dems can claim to be part of any improvement. They are the minority in all branches. Even if they go along, the Republicans are driving the bus. At this point they are probably realizing they have 2 options ... go along for the ride or get run over by the Bus.

The following may sound incredibly snarky and disrespectful, but I mean it to be neither:

We are at war; hand-to-hand combat for control of our country is going on right before our eyes.

Well, that's not entirely true: The combat is going on, but some of you aren't seeing it.

Why?

Because you're not being your own news detective.

How do I know this?

Because, in part, of the three comments I highlighted above.

We are at war, as we speak. This is a fight to the death. There is NO "getting along" or "getting out of the way" going on. ZERO.

Nor will there be.

We. Are. At. War.

PERIOD.

Please pay attention.

Turn off your TV, and/or put down your newspaper, and PLEASE pay attention.

I apologized in advance for the tone of my post, and I apologize again in closing.

Valerie Jarrett Moves In With Obamas In DC "To Lead The Fight & Strategy To Topple Trump"
By Tyler Durden, 03/03/2017

0bama's goal is to oust Trump from the presidency either by forcing his resignation or through his impeachment, The Daily Mail reports according to a family friend. To help him "lead the fight and strategy to topple Trump" his longtime consigliere, Valerie Jarrett, has moved into The 0bama's house with them in Washington.

After Eric Holder's comments yesterday:

quote:

Barack 0bama is getting closer to making his public reappearance in politics, his friend and former Attorney General Eric Holder said on Tuesday.

Holder said he’s been talking to the former president about ways — including fundraising and interacting with state legislators — that could help the new National Democratic Redistricting Committee, which 0bama asked Holder to chair last year.

“It’s coming. He’s coming,” Holder said, speaking to reporters at a briefing for the new group. “And he’s ready to roll.”

Throughout, Holder said, 0bama “will be a more visible part of the effort.”

It appears Barack 0bama is building his team, as The Daily Mail reports, he is turning his new home in the posh Kalorama section of the nation's capital - just two miles away from the White House - into the nerve center of the mounting insurgency against his successor, President Donald J. Trump.

0bama's goal, according to a close family friend, is to oust Trump from the presidency either by forcing his resignation or through his impeachment.

And 0bama is being aided in his political crusade by his longtime consigliere, Valerie Jarrett, who has moved into the 8,200-square-foot, $5.3-million Kaloroma mansion with the former president and Michelle 0bama, long time best friends. Jarrett played a vital - if at times low-key - role in the 0bama presidency. She lived in the White House, dined with the Obamas, and help shape his domestic and foreign policies.

The Mail reports that according to the family source, 0bama was at first reluctant to assume the role of leader of the opposition.

quote:

'No longer the most powerful man in the world, he was just observing Trump and not liking what he saw,' said the source.

'He was weary and burned out after eight years in office. But Valerie convinced him that he didn't have any choice if he wanted to save his legacy. And, as usual, he bowed to Valerie's political wisdom and advice.'

...'He is going to use his immense popularity with the half of the country that identifies as liberals and progressives,' said the 0bama family source. 'Millions of Americans are energized and ready to take to the streets to oppose Trump, but they need to be organized and have their anger focused and directed.

'0bama is dismayed at the way Trump is tearing down his legacy—0bamaCare, the social safety net and the welcome mat for refugees he put in place,' the source continued.

'He had hoped to write his memoirs, golf to his heart's content, and bask in the glory of his eight years in power and the progressive achievements he brought about. Instead, he is going to be leading the fight and strategy to topple Trump.' says the insider.

No offense taken.

I am aware of (and disgusted by) the state of affairs in DC. I grew up a half mile outside the beltway and have been exposed to it all my life. Admittedly I moved away from the beltway for college and have stayed away, in order to keep it out of my daily life as far as running into these morons when at the grocery store, gas station, and mall. But...it affects every aspect of my daily life.

I'm aware they won't "get out of the way" - it's not in their nature as a whole. The group (Democrats) are too brainwashed, too self-important, to EVER accept another belief set (or to even admit one exists). I don't expect the party to ever budge.

MY hope is, the individuals - and there were a couple standing and applauding at the speech - will start to understand, much the way I hope that most Americans will start to understand what's going on.

Looking at some poll results (I know...), we are starting to see some evidence that Democrat *voters* are starting to eschew the Democrat party, and support/understand the theme of the Trump administration. The voters are starting to admit this. More importantly? The MSM is starting to PUBLICIZE this. I don't expect the politicians to admit...well...ANYthing. But if those individuals can't come out in the open and state "I'm for Trump", maybe those individuals can quietly start to support; quietly allow/aid progress; and quietly erode the Democratic party.

Like Trump's victory - it doesn't have to be out in the open, on the front page. It can be a "movement". It can be quiet. It can be individuals, choosing on their own, as opposed to having to be a wide-open party adjustment.

And I suspect that if things do change, and if the Dems do start to lose some support and they lose some of these individuals...it WILL be quietly. For now, at least.

Having lived that close to the Fruit Loop? I also firmly believe (because this is the way it works) that once the Trump plan starts to be enacted, and people at large start to see the merit and the successes...support will become more public and more open and more widespread. And then, hopefully, the socialist/communist/hate-ist Democrat ruling class will be truly sent underground or eradicated altogether.

But first, we need to see concrete success on all levels. The Market numbers are inspiring; the poll conversion numbers are positive; the overall "feel" of the nation is positive (and that was one big thing I noted when I was on foot, on the mall, for the Inauguration - positive, polite, enthusiastic, RESPECT from the entire crowd!)...but we need to see concrete results. Consistently. I'm hopeful. I'm optimistic. But I'm cautious.

And believe you me, if anything happens to make the 2nd Amendment more accessible here in the Peoples Republik der Marylanden...I'll be gun shopping IMMEDIATELY so I have more than just long guns in the house (or, hopefully, on my person). Because I was a Boy Scout and I believe in being prepared...just in case.

And that is a prime example of what we need to see - immediate, personal, "it affects ME" results from all this. That will be the true litmus test for the majority of the sheeple - "how does this affect ME?". Once there's tangibles like tax savings (will have to wait till next April, of course), or gun laws, or even to an extent a physical, undeniable ground-breaking on the wall...the MSM and the naysayers won't have much of a leg to stand on. Right now, it's all theory - it needs to become TANGIBLE. That will be the main turning point for the nation. }

It used to be understood that the previous President doesn't publicly criticize the current President. BO certainly enjoyed that courtesy during his term in office. So it appears that instead of respecting, and abiding by that tradition, BO is going to double down and actually organize to criticize his successor. He is a very small man. He continues to build his legacy as a very small man. History will record his actions, regardless of the current media we have. It's a new world of being able to archive what has happened for future reference. History will see him more clearly than many see him today. No doubt, it will be taught in school that he was the first black President. That will be the best of his legacy. Little more than a footnote in history being taught in high school to kids bored our of their minds. Anyone looking deeper, will find a failure of a man. BO is simply doubling down on that failure.

Truth be told, if history records things correctly, and they wont go into this detail for your HS history books, BO didn't become President on his own. He was selected, long in advance, while still a nobody in Illinois. The orchestration is clear to see. It's been recently confirmed that the DNC does in fact work that way. The reality of the situation is that our first black President was simply a matter of identity politics being employed by a political party that selects it's candidates in a very undemocratic manner. Call it corrupt if you wish. This is BO's legacy.

I DO NOT KNOW OR HAVE ACCESS TO THE FACTS.

My GUESS is . . .based on conversations at faculty meetings . . . that Obama applied and was accepted because he was a FOREIGN citizen. I also GUESS that he either flunked out and was "advanced for the good" or had (I base this guess on his words, written in his book, that he spent all his time ignoring his studies and smoking dope) such poor grades that the simply moved him along to prevent having the paperwork that would go with dispatching a foreign minority.

I am seeing some of this now . . . there is a HUGE pressure on Ivy League school to keep enrollment's, both up and "diverse". Performance is a pesky little problem on the way to these goals.

Game on.
