I count you and Ann as a blessing, friend. Happy Turducken Day, all. Wish me luck- for the first time in my life I've gotta work it... NOT looking forward to it. However, once I survive tomorrow, I've got Friday off, they're calling for sun and 60 degree temps. Got a new battery and a $20 Battery Tender to update the Beemer, and my sweetie is preparing a day-after Thanksgiving, my mom's "heirloom" chicken and dumpling recipe! I'm very thankful. | ||

Thank you to all the men and women in the armed services who have laid down their lives that we may have a safe place to enjoy the company of our family and friends. Sorry to hear about your wife, that's never a good thing. First they use up all the toilet paper and then they go to the hospital because something goes haywire. Mine practically lives there. Best wishes for the missus. | ||

I went and checked, looks like there are a hundred rolls of tp left. She sent me home to collect her hospital kit. She has a couple of doctors visits coming to her through Sunday. She had 9 operations last year and most likely needs some things moved around inside. To correct the paths. | ||

She will be in hospital through Monday. They should know what way to go by then. Thank you every one. It helps knowing we aren't alone. She is very private about health and that is why I don't provide more details. I have to return to work up north while she is still in here. We have her mom lined up for dog care duty and sister for hospital visits and transport. There are only 4 bags hanging on the tree now. There were 8. I hate watching. I am thankful she is still here. Thankful the two bed room only has one bed in it. If it wasn't for modern medicine neither of us would be here today. I am thankful for friends on BadWeb. Thanks. | ||
