>>>So what are you going to do about it Blake?

He kinda already did it . . . . in a roundabout way he handed you a virtual sign that had "Look at me . . I am stupid" in great big ol' letters.

You fell for it . . . held it up and ran around the internet.

This season in particular, the hardcore Clinton supporters have done a remarkable job of communicating "I have nothing relevant to say" when they think they are promoting Clinton.

I just saw this one on a friends of a friends thread:

quote:

Trump promises things which he cannot and would never deliver. He is as unqualified and disingenuous as anyone we've ever seen in our history run for President. He insults, foments fear, is hateful and a predator. He has shown signs of being a sociopath and cannot be trusted. He has no clue what it means to serve the people.

All it does is demonstrate their partisan blindness. Which is their business, I won't judge, but I do tick off "well, their opinion is obviously clueless and what they say can be safely ignored as irrelevant" box.

That paragraph could apply to Hillary pretty accurately, and to Obama very easily (except maybe the predator part).

Trump has plenty of negatives, an out of control ego, poor control of his "inside voice", and questionable personal morals relative to his (ex) spouses.

But he can certainly deliver the things he is promising, he is absolutely qualified to run the executive branch, and I think he is saying pretty much exactly what he believes and what he will do (to a fault probably). He is an egotist, but not a sociopath, and he can be trusted to be exactly what he has represented himself to be since he first bum rushed the world stage.

The left made Trump appealing in a way Trump never could have.

I've said this before and I'll say it again here.

I probably wouldn't have liked general Patton as a person, either. Or some of the guys on the Manhattan Project.

And I don't care.

They got shit done.

I don't want someone to hold my hand or kiss my ass or worry about being "polite" all the time. I want RESULTS.

Would I like Trump if I met him in a bar? Probably not. But from a power perspective? A "get shit done" perspective? I damn sure respect his abilities.

You don't have to like someone in order to respect their abilities. And, not everyone has to like you in order for you to be successful.

You just have to get shit done. And he wants to get shit done...for US. She wants to feed her own ego, and line her own pockets. She should be in jail, not on the campaign trail.

But he can certainly deliver the things he is promising,

He'll never build a wall on the southern border. Too many federal agencies will shut that down before it's started. It would also be disastrous for ranchers that depend on water for livestock. HOWEVER, I'm willing to accept the "build a wall" speech as more of a metaphor for simply controlling the border. If is successful in controlling the border, I'm willing to put a check mark on calling that accomplished. His detractors will forever claim he failed in his promise, regardless of how successful border control may be. On economics... Trump understands that. Hillary is an four star idiot. R&R BOcare? I await to see what can be done.

My daughter and I just finished making chocolate chip cookies. I figure I'm going to vomit no matter who wins. It given the choice, I'd rather sick up chocolate chip cookies than anything else. It pays to plan ahead.

Looking grim for Trump so far. I don't mind that he loses, but it will make me sad for the country if Hillary wins. So much for the rule of law.

It's a crap shoot by any measure . . . . I've been taking screenshots of conflicting results . . . you certainly can't put faith in any one source of info.

The one I am watching closest is Florida . . . no Florida, no Trump. Period.

We'll see.

Charles Krauthammer just predicted a Clinton win. That concerns me . . he's no dummy.

So much for the rule of law . . . . looks like we could end up with a "set for the rich and a set for all others".

Going to be hard to overcome California's 55 votes.

Trump is currently winning the popular vote by 4%. Not that it matters.

All the results are starting strong democrat and ending strong trump. Perhaps the urban areas report faster.

Looks like Trump will crush it in Ohio, which was what I expected living here. We tend to be common sense first, and partisan second, and are smart enough to know when we are being patronized.

PA could be it. Leaning Clinton now... but just BARELY.

Here is a nice chart, but it is one that keeps slanting more and more trump minute by minute.

Note it is combining statistical weighting on the unreported districts based on historical precedent to show that PA is now effectively a dead heat between the two, even though if you look at the numbers it shows Clinton up by 15%. Basically, it is saying she wasn't strong enough in the districts where she was expected to be strong to overcome the districts where she is weak.

It just flipped. They are now projecting PA for Trump. That could be it.

That same damn plot showed up for FL and Ohio. Freaking identical.

I think the democratic districts continued to drink the democratic cool aide, maybe a little less enthusiastically, but they still drank it. But everyone else swung far and swung hard.

OK, thats it. If Michigan goes Trump, I'll take another road trip around the UP on the Uly.

And let me be clear again. I am NOT pro Trump. I am pro rule of law. If a republican had committed the crimes and coverups that Hillary has gotten away with, I would be rooting for that party to burn down also and voting for somebody like Bernie, even though I know his economic plans depend on sparkle powder and unicorn farts.

To me, a Trump victory is a message that corruption and putting yourself before your country is such a grave offense, that we would fire you for it even if it means we are stuck with a guy like Trump as a result.
