Dreyer South Powersports, a fantastic EBR dealer located in Whiteland, Indiana just south of Indianapolis, IN is hosting an EBR reunion event on Sept 17. Joseph Beavers will be there stunting on his 1190sx. Erik Buell will be in attendance for a meet and greet. Food and drinks are provided. It is being operated as an ongoing concern by it's current owner, Liquid Asset Partners. I'm sure they would consider selling it for the right price, and they aren't apparently making major investment in new designs or bikes, but they are paying enough to keep a core group employed and producing new bikes. Which actually isn't a terrible plan when the motorcycle economy is retracting. | ||

Fer Chrissakes; EBR has a total of less than two dozen employees. They're working their asses off, but there's tons of work that they don't have time for. They also don't have the money to spend on a Demo fleet. They're building something like 10 bikes a week right now, and don't have the resources to do events at the more popular events. Give them time. they're not quite ready for Prime Time yet; but they will be. | ||

I tried to steer it back to the positive!  It's a web forum. You get the good with the bad. The alternative is the manufacturer controlled happy BS pages that are generally as useless as they are meaningless. On the good side, thank you for posting this, helping organize it, and letting us know that it's going on! I'm not generally a big fan of these kinds of meet up's and group rides, but I've been wanting to see an EBR in the flesh for a while, and I am thinking about going. Group rides with strangers terrify me though... but if there is a published local route for some hidden highlights, that might be fun. | ||

My comment was positive. EBR has no....as in ZERO .... $. They are on LAP life support in search of a deep pocket investor. They are not a "going concern" or interested in any advertising. That's fact. If you find it distressing .... Buy a 2016 and convince a friend to. | ||
