Today is 9/11 I have no idea what "Buell" info I was looking for 10 years ago today, but I found this place, I have met some of the best people. Went to some of the best get togethers. Epic rides, wrecks, racing, bonfires... We have lost some along the way. Helped out those in need. Badweb has been a wonderful find and I hope it goes on for many years. and a BIG thanks to Blake for keeping it going    | ||

+1000. Glad to know all youn's, and all the good times to date that I've gotten to ride/eat/drink/campfire/ with all. Rode the Beemer to work today, found again that it's happy to cruise at 90 if need be... it's high time to try out those new Avons I had spooned on recently. We'll see about November- that'll be getting into my busy work season, but what the hey. And thanks Blake, and moderators. It's high time I throw some dough out to maintain things- standby, it'll be a little later this month. | ||

It's the people. Simple as that. Yup; we truly are Different in Every Sense. This place started with a common love of Buell motorcycles, but the people who build, support and buy Erik's bikes are a cut above in that they go the extra distance for each other. There's no other place like Badweb that I've found. When Badweb organized to relay me and my bike home from Cincinnati, my brother was astonished that the members of a forum would do such a thing for one of its members. He's still talking about it! (I was humbled to be the recipient of so much help, but the attitude of everyone involved was typical of Badwebbers) Erik and company have always been about going the extra distance for their customers. That attitude has filtered down to the people who love the bikes. It's a Great Family to be a part of. I also hope it goes on for a very long time. | ||

I found BadWeB when I put my deposit down for an 08 1125R. The salesman I worked with knew Court from a hundred years ago and sent me here. My first impression was that there was as much passion here as there was at the Apple sites I hung out at. A few months later I went to Homecoming on my 1125 and I was totally hooked. Wholly shit! Sept 14 is ten years for me. Must be a 'Ulysses came out', introduction thing! For the year before that, when I had owned my City-X, I had not heard of BadWeB. It has made the Ulysses experience special for sure! Jim does that mean there is now hard evidence you are a shit head?  | ||

I had to look to see, I hit 13 years in July! Yep, I'm old as rope. I joined prior to getting a Buell and stayed here through S3, XB12X, and 1125CR ownership. I still have the Uly, and sold the S3 and 1125CR to other Badwebbers, so it's all good. I hope this place is still going and all of us are still here in another 13 years! | ||

Wow, this thread made me go back and look. Was 11 years this August. I bought my XB12s in may and lurked here for a month or so before joining. Still got that bike too. | ||

That "Epic Cosmic Coincidence" happened in 2003. But it wasn't that everybody joined on that day. (My profile says that I became a member on April 25, 2003, too). There was some sort of screw up in the system, and everybody's post count went to zero, and everybody's sign up date was reset to that day. I just looked and Court's profile shows he registered on April 25, 2003. I remember some folks were pissed because their high post counts had dropped to 0. I'm pretty sure that I joined BadWeB in 2000. That's when I got my first computer. I was heavy into the ATC (I was member #190), and it took a while before I warmed to this place. I had met many ATC members, but few Badwebbers. After Jay Hawley had his aneurysm and passed the ATC on to Scot, I got more into Badweb. | ||

Ah, August of '04 for me. Had had my '01 X-1 for about 2 years (still have it) and looked for a Buell resource. So glad I found this one! So maybe no longer a newbie? | ||

I joined the second time on October 16,2000.I don't remember when I joined the first time,but my original user name was "Buellish1".I wasn't allowed to have that user name back as the powers that be said someone else had that name.And that's how I became "Buellish".
