I rode to Zydecos in Mooresville, Indiana for some crawfish in milk sauce. Got there 2 hours before they opened. Looked up at the store sign next door. Some one trying to tell me something? | ||

The fender on the Uhaul says max speed 55. Something tells me that wasn't the case or you'd still be driving. I won't tell. That was a job well done, now to figure out how to get a running engine so Crusty can be traveling again | ||

I'm home. Thank you all; I appreciate it more than I can begin to tell you. Right now, I'm pretty exhausted from the events of the past week, but I'll crank out a snippet as soon as my brain starts functioning again. And this TV show only costs $5/month to watch...the best bargain on the net. The West Coast Badweb sorority says you guys rock on the East Coast. Sunday Morning At Dawn My sleep patterns are all screwed up. I’m wide awake at 4:00 AM, and I’ll probably be nodding off mid afternoon, today. But I’m home, so that doesn’t really matter a lot. What matters is how this whole Great Circle Ride went. It was truly an Adventure. I traveled over 10,000 miles, spent time with Family and friends, saw things I’ve never seen before, went to new places, made mistakes that made the whole trip better, hurt myself and saw a disaster get converted into a wonderfully positive experience. If I was reading a story with a plot line like this, I’d never believe it. It’s real, though and I got to live it. I truly am fortunate. Dondi asked me, “When your bike died, did you think how much of a good thing it was going to turn out to be?” The answer is, of course not. But because the Roadster died, a whole bunch of people got to help out someone in a jam. Everybody on BadWeB pulled together for one of their own. It makes me feel both humbled and proud to be part of such a group. My brother David could not believe that the people of a forum would do so much for one of their members. I guess it’s pretty much unheard of. Then again, BadWebbers have dealt with Buell and EBR and have learned what exceptional efforts can do. When you associate with exceptional people, you learn to emulate them. Today is going to be a laid back kind of day. I’m not going to accomplish a whole lot. I’m going to take the day and recover and ruminate about my trip and how it all went down. Maybe I’ll call about that Concours that I’ve got my eye on. I haven’t decided yet what I’m going to do about the Roadster. Well; I’m back. | ||
