The Donald Cook has been PlSSlNG about and provoking the Russians for two years. In 2014, the old Russia Fencers made it a floating brick, disabling all EW radar and fire control, and navigational systems.

If you think it is harmless navigation drills, what do you think would be the U.S. reaction to a Russian cruise missile frigate inside 100 miles of NYC ? still international waters.....and in less than 6 minutes 18 -24 warheads in bound (depending on the hull #)

The community organizer in chief needs a grand dose of sit down, shut up and mind your own house.

Ps Ukraine is no place to be an American, getting robbed is the least of your worries.

The nice folk at NPR happily took money to sell you the Obama Legacy Surrender To Iran Deal. ( Not a treaty, oh no, that takes Congress.... this just took a bunch of lies and a bill to give Emperor Obama full power )

They also gleefully accepted an offer of millions from the Muslim Brotherhood to slant their news... They didn't get the money, since it was a sting operation, but they did it anyway, apparently, on the basis that anyone who wants to destroy western civilization MUST be a Progressive, just like them.

The best thing I've seen out of the press in years is when the President's mouthpiece, ( formerly known as a press secretary ) flat out lied to the press and they went...?huh?.

The utter lack of follow through after that is undoubtedly due to the fact they ALL know that being confrontational to the lies of this regime means you don't get back in the room, ever. That the vindictive and petty monsters running the country will make sure you never get a free ride on the nicest private jet in the world, Air Force One, and that you will never be allowed to ask another question of anyone in this regime.

They will make you an unperson in the Soviet style. Your career will be toast. And they certainly make it clear to these minions on the Press that lack of loyalty will be severely punished.

So when CNN or NBC etc. tell me something today, I simply don't bother to accept it as fact anymore than if I got an anonymous e-mail selling me natural viagra or telling me they can give me a great deal if I sell them my car. I don't automatically disbelieve them, I just don't accept that they are even capable of telling the truth.

And the obvious lies I curse them for. I don't curse them enough. The best I can do is not pay them. So I haven't had cable tv in years, and don't miss it a bit, even when I'm stuck home healing from surgery.

I can't tell you to quit paying the media, especially in most households with children and teens.... I understand that Dancing with the stars is a major event in many people's lives. But I have.

A lovely gesture and hopes. Unfortunately for the rest of the planet, utter willful ignorance of the reality of human evil, almost always results in carnage as that evil takes advantage of "well meaning" fools.

I suppose lying to yourself is a necessity to one of Barack's faith, since it is based on lies, and steals from Christianity the words of hope it actually will crush.

Or I could be wrong. After all, for Obama to be cynically lying in Hiroshima, would take the kind of person who brags he "good at killing people" or repeatedly insists he's "not a dictator" while starting wars and sending weapons to the enemy.

Here, Obama gives very good advice. Based on lies and scaremongering propaganda, true, but good advice. I am reminded that Barry knows less science than Rush Limbaugh. That's pretty darn ignorant. BUT, he does know how to lie to get power. Darn good at that.

I'd add that along with some food and water in a bugout kit, you should have adequate weapons & ammo to protect yourself & family.

Yeah, it's different when it's no longer hypothetical and becomes personal.

ACLU leader quits after daughters encounter men in the women’s restroom

quote:

Maya Dillard Smith, interim director of the Georgia chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, has resigned over the ACLU’s position on who can use which public restrooms. The resignation occurred after her two daughters were traumatized by encountering men in the women’s restroom. Dillard Smith explained:

I have shared my personal experience of having taken my elementary school age daughters into a women’s restroom when shortly after three transgender young adults, over six feet [tall] with deep voices, entered. My children were visibly frightened, concerned about their safety and left asking lots of questions for which I, like many parents, was ill-prepared to answer.

Dillard Smith complained that the ACLU has become “a special interest organization that promotes not all, but certain progressive rights” and that the “hierarchy of rights” the ACLU chooses to defend or ignore is “based on who is funding the organization’s lobbying activities.” Further expressing her disillusionment, Dillard Smith stated:

I understood it to be the ACLU’s goal to delicately balance competing rights to ensure that any infringements are narrowly tailored, that they do not create a hierarchy of rights, and that we are mindful of unintended consequences. I believe there are solutions that can provide accommodations for transgender people and balance the need to ensure women and girls are safe from those who might have malicious intent.

Unfortunately, as she has learned, Dillard Smith’s view of the ACLU bears little relation to reality. The ACLU’s goal — like that of the LGBT movement — is to shove a radical agenda down the throats of the American people, not to balance rights and find reasonable accommodations.

A transgender activist — a biological male who goes by the name Cheryl Courtney-Evans — responded to Dillard Smith’s resignation by calling her “lazy,” “ill-educated,” and a “b–ch” who needs to sit down and “STFU.” No one who has seen LGBT activists in action will be surprised by this charming response.

Actually, Dillard Smith is well educated. She earned a degree in economics from Berkeley and a master’s degree at Harvard.

She’s also a liberal Democrat. And until she resigned, she was one of the youngest ACLU directors in the nation and one of only three African-Americans employed by the ACLU in that role.

These days, one hears intelligent people assert that the “culture war” is over. It isn’t, and won’t be soon, because the left will keep looking for new cultural battlegrounds. Today, public restrooms; tomorrow, the world.

I honestly think this Transgender shit is going to backfire on the Dems. I think most Americans with common sense, the silent majority in this case, think the whole thing is absurd. I'm hoping it helps to tip the scales in Nov. This could be an example of pushing your position too far.

I think its an example of *both* sides pushing the position too far.

First the transgender group saying "there is nothing more to gender than my mood at any given moment". That may be true to them, and that's their business, but in their interactions with others there may be some reasonable and respectful boundaries necessary for both normals and transgenders in order for us all to be respectful and considerate of each others.

And on the conservative side, declaring that your chromosome state at birth is the only factor in the restroom you use, is just as stupid. For example somebody who elected to go through significant hormonal and surgical interventions and who operates to the casual observer as a member of a particular sex ought to be able to use the bathroom of the sex that people will assume that they are.

The fact that you can't make a law to cover the grey area is a clear indication to you that you shouldn't be trying to make a law that covers the grey area, not a reason to force something stupid.

So I think there is plenty of stupid on both sides of this one.

I'm not gay or transgender, and there are LOTS of things I do and don't do in public restrooms who's sole purpose is to keep people around me from being uncomfortable. Its not intolerance and I'm not being repressed.

I agree.

The bathroom laws are a Stupid reaction to the freak power activists. LGBTXYZ...ETC. they keep adding sub freak groups of micro numbered kinky folk.

I'm all for gays having equal rights. They do not now. Fairs fair. More rights? No.

You can demand respect. You won't get real respect until you earn it. You can't legislate liking people.

But this "identify" yourself as a micro slice of sexuality bit is annoying a lot of folk..... because it's being exploited by Chester the Molester.

Does anyone really think a guy who wants to be a girl is a threat to their kin? Don't be an idiot.

Otoh, there are "activists" who cross any line of common sense to push for more privilege than others.

I have no problems if you're gay. I have problems if you're a closeted gay politician. Barry & Hillary would gain much respect if they finally came out.

They'd still be lying corrupt fascists who have no respect for you, your life, or property, but it would cut down on blackmail.

I think the chromosome stuff is stupid too but that law was passed a result of a stupid law that was passed in Charlotte. If they didn't push that issue, then the Republican legislature would not have responded.

Like I said, I think this is an instance of the Dems and a very small group that is a very small sliver of society pushing too far and there is going to be blow-back.

I think Americans were willing to go along with Gay Marriage and Gay rights. I don't think they are willing to let some dude with a beard pee next to their daughter. For proof look at the ACLU director that resigned.

While I prefer you not scare the horses, I don't care what consenting adults do.

I'm even willing to have a respectful discussion on how old "adult" is. Twenty one is an arbitrary choice solely determined by the geezers hating the punks taking over their bars...... just like they did a decade ago. Unfair, arbitrary and stupid.

But predators on our kids are not acceptable. While I would have loved to have been seduced by the hot english teacher back in 7th grade, that's not the same as what's going on daily.

I'm not saying you should seek out and slaughter all NAMBLA members. You shouldn't take such responsibility on yourself. So give me a call first, eh?

True story time. My brother and law and his wife are flaming liberals. She was actually a social worker for a while, until the realities of that job got her to decide to quite. Anyway, when their oldest son was about 6 or 7 years old, their neighbor decided to become a woman. As soon as their son said that Mr. Smith must have a girlfriend, they packed up and moved. They are all for this stuff until they have to explain it to their own young child.

It's funny. Kids can understand that kind of thing with no problems if you are honest and admit you don't understand it all.

Far from being a statement that robs you of authority, admitting you don't get something takes a lot of pressure off the kid to make sense of a subject.

I dealt with the "birds and the bees" questions simply, honestly, and early, with no obvious ( I hope ) emotional angst. I was matter of fact, not upset, and that seems to work a lot better than freaking out and imposing a lifetime of therapy on the poor darlings. Plenty of other subjects for them to discuss with a bewildered therapist later. ; )

OK, somewhat on topic of the "Birds and the Bees" comment;

Years ago during a family event at the sis-in-laws house, Nephew is told to get a towel out of the dryer before jumping in the pool and comes out holding a used condom (that has been through the wash cycle). This is when he was very young and before "The Talk". Everyone looks at him, then at the parents, who are looking at each other (sis-in-law has death eyes going at hubby), then everyone quietly gets up cleans up and leaves. Cue the nuclear explosion.

I have always been ok with the lgb, but the t is a little more of a stretch for me. Choosing to change your gender because you "feel" like a girl or boy at a given moment is not a good reason. If there is a medical reason then that it another issue. Look at Bruce Jenner. I blame the kids. (and the money)

Hell, until I was about 10 years old, my sisters had me convinced that I would turn into a girl any day since that is the way life worked.

Bill,

"And on the conservative side, declaring that your chromosome state at birth is the only factor in the restroom you use, is just as stupid."

Really? First, is that really the intent of the law?

Second, "just as stupid"?

One side of the issue opens doors wide for all kinds of serious problems/exploitation and discomfort for many in favor of a minuscule few. The other closes those doors somewhat.

True transgenders can get their birth certificate revised as desired. It's legal, and it's done. And the status quo for interim transgenders, those not yet fully surgically transformed, was that so long as they acted and appeared as the gender they desired, they were free to use the applicable restroom. The showers in the schools, not so much.

The law was passed solely in reaction to a city ordinance that mandated publicly accessible gender specific facilities be no more, that henceforth they must be open to anyone who merely self-identifies as whichever gender they might like that day.

How would you suggest such an issue be dealt with? Keep in mind that the status quo was essentially that anyone acting and appearing female could use the female facilities and likewise for male facilities. The NC law hasn't really changed that. Are we to imagine that law officers will be screening people's birth certificates prior to entering publicly accessible restrooms? No, in reality the law hasn't changed. The law just preserves the status quo in a don't ask, don't tell scheme.

What the city bathroom ordinance opened up was abolition of what was essentially a don't ask, don't tell scenario so that transgenders could openly flaunt their transgenderedness. And of course that is what the activists want, to shove their proclivities into everyone's face.

The NC law is the only means I can see to protect people from such unwanted confrontation and the risks of nefarious exploitation of such gender-fluid policy when it is mandated by city ordinance.

"Does anyone really think a guy who wants to be a girl is a threat to their kin? Don't be an idiot."

Does anyone really think that using the facilities that correspond to one's biology is a grievous assault against one's rights?

Status quo was that people ere using the facilities that corresponded to their outward appearance and behavior. Why the need for the open bathroom ordinance?

One reason.
