I ran across a geocacher in a local forest preserve once. He tried to explain it to me and how he used his GPS to find hidden items. He was asking me for directions to get out of the forest preserve. I laughed pretty hard at that, but did give him the shortest way back to his car. | ||

The abortion joke didn't work because it failed to get any traction the core issue. There would be very little debate about abortion rights if it was limited to a nonviable fetus. The debate is when a viable fetus is aborted. So actually the closer (but still pretty awkward and therefore uninteresting) comparison with the presidential election is ironically Bernie. He is a viable Democratic candidiate, who was aborted (against his will) by "Mom" (the Democratic party and it's superdelegates) because they didn't want him. His desires and rights don't matter, he is just a collection of cells in the Democratic party. But, meh. Probably too complicated and subtle to be considered funny. | ||
