It's next November. The choices have narrowed down to two candidates for the Presidency Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans. Who are you going to vote for?
There was a time when the choice was of that of a lesser evil. Now it seems we just choose which kind of evil.
The only good thing I see about Trump being in the race is that he has inspired some, pissed off some, insulted a lot, but mostly got PEOPLE interested. The GOP nominees would otherwise be a boring group to simply be ignored. They do make me laugh when the "serious candidates" follow Trump's lead on some of their policies chasing popularity.
Hillary needs to be jailed and Bernie needs to be told that throughout history, time has proven that Socialism only can stand if it is being financed by an outside source.
Yes keep voting, I understand they are actually serving free government kool aid at the voting stations now. If you really want to know who to vote for ask the Rothchilds which puppet they will be installing. Just my 2 cents
If Hillary, who admitted to destruction of documents isn't prosecuted? Then it's obvious she is the anointed one and the votes the old nut who honeymooned in the Soviet Union gets just won't count.
Then, logically, the votes for Trump won't either.
Bloomberg vs. Biden? You mean Bloomberg as a third party candidate? He would siphon away votes primarily from the Democrats, probably ensuring a Republican win.
I am irritated by the "flip a coin" binary system too. Everyone just works harder and harder to be "more republican" or "more democrat" to curry more votes. I really wish there was a viable third choice that would attract voters from both parties.
Everyone seems to just pander to whatever they feel will get the most votes.
Still waiting for President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho (Terry Crews)
This is an epic event We have a wild, unbelievable laundry list of characters running for president.
I would put money on Hillary being indited for the emails, but the Clintons have an uncanny ability of slipping past any and all allegations of trouble from Mena, to White Water, Vince Foster to Bengazi, NOTHING STICKS...teflon So in my estimation Bloomberg would make a good democratic candidate.
The Bush family may have run its course.
Rubio is status quo
Cruz...I don't know
Bernie wouldn't win just because Free Shit doesn't grow on trees.
My old hippie chick Uber driver asked me who would I want across the table from Putin...she answered Trump...~go figure?
Personally I love Ben Carson, he would make a wonderful first black American president as that butt wipe obama is only half black...that is why he can't make a basket.
Why is it that EVERYONE seems to believe there are only two choices, red or blue, right or left, elephant or jackass?
Untrue. The Parties have worked very hard to make it a binary choice. Any third party will get marginalized, and there is the simple fact that if you have a decent third party candidate, the party furthest from him wins, since the party closer gets votes taken away.
A third party Bloomberg would hurt the D party, a third party Trump would hurt the R party. Simple.
BTW Bloomberg is a F87463992790109.... Dicatorial jerk. Bad man. Rich. and mean.
Crusty, I'm afraid in your scenario I'd cut off my own fingers before pushing either button. But forced to it with the finger stumps bleeding all over the voting machine, it would have to bleed harder on the Trump button. My "hanging chad" would have to hang to the right.
This November could be cause for some serious consumption of mass quantities. Alcohol will reign supreme.
THis is very true, he (Jeb) is still running his campaign. Why he is still doing it is beyond me, with only a few % it seems HIGHLY unlikely that he'll be able to come back around the 4 or 5 that are ahead of him.
Aesquire, Bloomberg? Hell no! I was talking about the whole two party system in general. If congress existed in such state, that no one party had a majority of either branch, then maybe legislation would considered for it's merits rather than it's party line. However, what I do believe is that most sheeple won't break from the flock and vote out side of the mainstream candidates. I look at every issue by itself, with no guidance from any party. I don't fit any mold that's out there. I also believe, that when someone joins the Dems or the Repubs, THAT is what makes them part of the establishment.
I understand. ... but you're missing some important bits.
I live in N.Y. if I want to vote in a primary I have to be registered in that party, & that has nothing to do with my politics and joining anything. If I want to vote against Hillary I have to register D.
Right now there is a revolution in the R party. Not so the D. Half the candidates are promising to trash the Establishment R leaders, which I'm all for. They are the ones the Jebs and Rove are attacking viciously, Ted, Carly, etc.
I don't know that the Donald isn't a shill for the Establishment, I'm not sure you can be paranoid enough about these jerks.
So I'm for trashing the leaders in the Party, and hoping for better. Sure not joining them.
Not going to argue that the two party system needs to be demolished. I agree. But I live in the world that is, and until you get a politician that will overturn the status quo, you have to nibble on the edges.
One party will send jack booted thugs to steal my property. Proudly. Guns, horrible planet killing fossil fuel burning vehicles, etc.
The other might try and make some sexual thing illegal..... but will fail.
Dictator or prude you can tell to go to heck. That's an oversimplification but pick one.
Hillary will send you to prison to protect her lies. She's done it. Bloomberg will send you to prison for a big gulp or a .22 rifle.
Problem now . . . . like it or not . . is that Hillary **IS** immune from prosecution. She's committed felonies with impunity and laughing all the while.
There's damn good chance you can end up with her as President.
Ditto Bernie . . . folks laughed when the goofy looking SOB got in the race . . . . now he's on a roll and gathering support from young voters who buy into the bullshit that you can get all that crap for free simply by taking money from the rich. They fail to note that the rich are very mobile and taxes will move them.
Then you have Trump. The guy is a loose canon, loose lipped and loosely knit collection of punch lines from deals gone awry.
We're way low on choices here . . . . I'm still convinced that whoever the 2 nominees will be have not yet shown their faces.
