1. The guy who apologized on TV has probably never been to SERE. 2. None the less, we don't know what kind of duress he or his companions were under when he apologized, so although I hate to say this, his actions are forgivable. 3. Body language conveys that he was lying when he apologized. 4. The Resident actually thinks that the F)*$tarded nation that captured these sailors is our friend? He'd seriously rather take their side than Israels? He is either a moron or a closet islamist (fascist).
I can't believe what is happening now. Iran gets a prisoner exchange for 5 people that should have been released long ago. Now all the leaning news are calling it the great negotiations of the current administration that got this done. They all fail to mention the seven convicted scumbags Iran is getting for this exchange, plus 14 more scumbags will no longer be pursued for crimes they have committed. How disgusting, this clown in chief is going to do a lot of damage before this year is up.
The irony of pResident Zero wanting to beef up gun control here in the US at the same time that we are finding out that under his Fast & Furious program, they were helping to arm the El Chapo drug lord with .50 caliber rifles. BO should be brought up on federal gun running charges.
That Flint issue has been one I was curious about. Politicians and bureaucrats on all sides are frantically covering their asses, so you have to take everything with a grain of salt.
Here is a good article I finally found to balance out the "It's Republican's fault because they are Republican" narrative on NPR and most of the rest of the media.
Of course that's the other extreme, but it's a good balance of information that does bring forward some facts that (a) are common sense and (b) aren't going to be covered elsewhere.
Listening to Hillary on NPR saying how she was outraged at the Republican scandal, it failed the "duh" test right out of the chute. Flint has been Democrat and Democrat dominated for a long time. If Democrat leadership was the solution, we wouldn't have a problem there.
(Which isn't to say Republican leadership is the solution either... maybe we just need good leadership...)
Good article Reep. I've been kind of watching this story too. One point that was left out of that article is that the Governor asked for federal assistance, twice, and was denied by the current Democrat administration. It is funny how the Republican Governor is caught in the middle of a mess like this, and they try to make him out to be the scapegoat.
"Obama is American by virtue of his birth in Hawaii and has released his birth certificate as proof. He also is Christian. But segments of the U.S. population still believe neither to be true."
Could it be his anti-American, anti-Christianity, pro-muslim words and pro-caliphate policies that causes folks to question him?
There's a reason folks don't believe him when he says, "i'm no longer the strapping young muslim socialist I used to be". He sure hasn't given us any tangible evidence to support that statement.
Reminds of the law they tried to pass after Sandyhook. The Ruger Mini-14 was banned but the Ruger Ranch Rifle was not. Little did they know, they are basically the same rifle. I am sure there were many other similar examples.
No real reason.... except to give things scary names and take your rights incrementally. Ban one thing. Then another. There's no legitimate sporting purpose in gun control. Just power.
