You didn't like the Jawas? Those were from A New Hope, right? I don't put them in the Jar Jar category. Jar Jar ruined everything for me in respect to the new Star Wars films.

Jawas were the lesser of the evils.

New movie synopsis:

Best of 7.

Minimal Muppet presence. One very unexpected plot twist.

That is encouraging.

The original episode of any epic movie franchise is often hard to top in my book.

Matthew, if you say so, then it's a must-see. I've always been a sci-fi buff, and it probably had a LOT to do with the original Star Wars movie.

Here's something very cool and fun- saw it when it aired last night or so ago. I love J. Fallon and the Roots...

Action packed.

Elements of episodes 4,5 & 6 with regard to the overall ambiance of the movie.

Somebody important makes an unexpected, permanent exit.

That's really as far as I can go without spoiling it for you.

Not sure if you are referring to my questioning of the length of previews at the movie theater...but if you consider "grumpy" as a person who questions the BS encountered on a daily basis. yeah I am grumpy. I know 90% of people hate previews, especially 20 full minutes of previews, but no one is willing to voice their opinion. I ain't no sheep.

I hate the damned previews also. 2 or 3 would be ok, but it was a FULL FORTY MINUTES last night...

I DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE MARVEL UNIVERSE.

Fresno, yes, I think this is the best movie of all, hands down.

40 minutes. That's outrageous. I probably would have been arrested in the lobby about 25 minutes into 'em. LOL

Matthew- why no likey the Marvel stuff? Heck, I grew up a comic book junkie, read most all of them. Here lately I've been hooked on Netflix' "Jessica Jones"- an R rated, adult drama (sim sex and abundant violence, well portrayed)... believe it or not, very well written, well cast, and great performances from the actors.

Watched the first episode of "F is for Family" last nite- seems promising, kinda like King of the Hill, but in the '70's.

I find comics boring.

I read Dilbert. Used to read Bloom County. Super heroes just don't interest me at all.

I'm a Dungeons & Dragons kid.

OK- sometime, go find Too Much Coffee Man.

FWIW, Breathed is doing the strip again, but only on Facebook.

I ditched movie theaters when they ditched the cartoons before the movie started. Ain't missed a damned thing. I'll see this latest Star Wars movie in a few years................

Alright. It was good. A bit nostalgic and a bit of the new. I'm not sure if I can call it the best of 'em just yet...I'll wait for the next couple to make that judgment. It is certainly worlds better than the prequels and at least equal to the originals. BB8 was great. Makes me want to get one of these:
