At EICMA in Milan: new Diavel, off-road worthy Multistrada, and Scrambler 400 (among others) from Ducati, dirt-tracker styled XSR900 triple from Yamaha, with more to come! http://www.motorcycledaily.com |

^ Apparently that's not until tomorrow. Indian's apparently going to announce a new model too. |

I love that Yamaha! I wonder how hard it would be to mount hard bags on it for trips. |

With those nice metal side bracket thingies on there, I bet it wouldn't be much problem at all. |

A few others of interest: BMW RnineT scrambler: Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer: Ducati XDiavel (with belt drive!): KTM Super Duke Special Edition (Hmm, didn't someone else used to use orange wheels and orange trellis frames?): Victory and Indian are supposed to unveil new models tomorrow. |

The Ducati looks like scifi gone wrong, that particular Guzzi, as much as I love them, does nothing for me, and, I'm sorry, the KTM is just fugly. The BMW looks like a lot of fun though. |

Ohlins on the Yammer? |

Ohlins on the Yammer? Nah, I think those are the same budget priced forks used on the YZ09; they just have trick gold anodizing to look like Ohlins. |

Damn these bikes get uglier every year! OTOH, I do like the Diavel, and the Yamaha "Faster Sons" stuff should pay off one day... Overall, there's a very nice variety of new stuff going on. Heck, a revamped SV Suzook is arguably the best news! |

And here's the rumored Victory, though it is just a "concept" at this point: http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/bikes/victory-igni tion-concept/ |

It looks like an FZ1/R1/V-Max/Decepticon hybrid. |

Better pic of the Victory with its builder: Not bad, except the pegs are at least 6 inches too far forward. |

Somehow I don't recall the Pikes Peak bike having forward controls. |

I'm digging them Scouts! At the price point, they beat the snot out of the H-D Sportys. Wonder if Ghezzi-Brian has anything new going on? The factory Moto-Guzzi's still don't push all my buttons, but the Ghezzi-Brians are pure sex! |

The Victory 156 bikes for potential production sound pretty exciting- they claim to be chasing the top performers of the 1200cc class! Sure wish Erik and Bruce could join the fray... |

KTM's new Super Duke 1290 GT is as close to the AX as we're going to get for now! Man, that thing is perfect. |

Gotta say, I really do not like the new style of website folks are designing these days. (The ones similar to KTM) Ugh. Two words come to mind: Big and Stupid. The bikes are great!! |

I'm diggin the MT-1!!! If I hadn't already committed myself to never buying a new motorcycle ever again (unless I win the lottery) I would be jumping in line for one of those. |
