From http://michellemalkin.com/2015/09/21/hillarys-new- selling-point-im-a-washington-outsider/

"The only thing “Washington outsider” about Hillary has been her email server."

Also, she has been "making sure a certain someone wasn’t using his real name on Ashley Madison."

I don't care who you are, that's funny - famous Philosopher.

Echo Chamberites Colbert and Stewart's replacement could get some real laughs with those.

Hoot,
You have to wonder as the rest of us obey most laws and understand that if we break
federal law we will likely wind up in jail,

why is clinton "untouchable"?

Or why any one would consider this woman
fit for the office of potus when seemingly every time she opens her mouth its a lie ....

---why is clinton "untouchable"?

Because..."The justice department will not prosecute, and will not appoint a special prosecutor."

How else do you expect her to be charged with a crime?

Greece has spent 8 years trying to do it the conservative way, have they rebounded?

America collapsed under the tutelage of BUSHY and dragged the rest of the world down. If you dare disagree please tell me what was the impetus was for the great recession???

Do you have the capacity to tell me what countries have suffered worse for their Democratic Socialist views? And tell me this, with our medicare and such what makes us not a Democratic socialist country already.

I love how all your arguments can be summed up by a singe picture- because the worlds issues are that simple- ...yeah right!

LOL. Yeah Todd, Greece crashed because they were too conservative, and not left enough. That's it. It had nothing to do with perpetually up spiralling benefits, an anti-business environment including high taxes, and a declining gross domestic product. It is all because they were conservative.

Greece is actually an example of what you asked for in your third point. They had a total meltdown under their socialist policies. They are so deep in debt that it will take generations to actually recover, assuming they every try. Claiming they have turned conservative is laughable.

The recession under Bush was caused by many years of government policy where loans were given to those who had very questionable credit. This started under the Carter administration. To put the blame on Bush is a bit ridiculous. Barney Frank a Chair of the House Financial Services Committee did block reform of lending at the time though. To be fair, it was already too late, but the point is that Democrats didn't want to fix what was known to be a dangerous situation.

No the world isn't simple enough to be summed up with a simple meme, or political cartoon. They can however create awareness, and provoke useful conversation.

Because his boyfriend was an executive an Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. Oversight of your boyfriends company? Conflict of interest? Yeah.

I heard an interesting fact a couple of years ago on the radio in Switzerland, the head of the Swiss national bank, I think it was, said that money deposited in Swiss banks by Greek clients over the last few years would easily pay of ALL Greek debt.

Effectively a small percentage of Greeks had raped their own country and blamed the European Union.

There are parallels to be drawn in many nations of various political stamps, greed is greed, some have made it an art form.

I remember the French doctor being angry they kept Arafat on a respirator after he was days dead while they argued over his animated corpse who got the billions in his bank account. His dear wife in exile and the PLO leaders. The doctor wanted the life support gear for a living patient that needed it.

Every penny in that bank was stolen from aid to Palestinians from governments & charity.

Grumpy, are you saying that if Greece had siezed private money from rich Greek citizens, they could have paid off their national debt?

OK. Greek could go mug little old ladies and take their money too.

So the question is if the Greek money going to Swiss banks was illegally or unethically gathered. I don't know if it was or wasn't, but that's the story that needs to be understood for the original point to have any relevance.

Otherwise, the point is reduced to just that people can spend themselves into debt, then steal money from somebody else to pay it off.

Right now there are U.S. congressman calling for stealing retirement accounts. He promises to dole the money back out....

A lot of wealth in those 401k's. Untaxed.

"You didn't build that".

Seems like just a matter of time. They have looted all the other big pots of money like social security.

(Actually, social security was pre-looted from it's inception.)

Deficit spending is economic slavery, and should be illegal, except perhaps where there is an imminent and unambigiuos threat to the destruction of the country (which I would argue hasn't happened since 1941).

For everything else? Pass what you can pass, but the voters that passed it have to pay as they go.

Anything else is taxation without representation.

I think that Mr G's point was that if the Greeks with hidden money had paid their taxes, that Greece's money situation would have been postponed, not that their "free stuff" approach could have been fully paid for.

But, maybe I am presumptuous to speak for Mr. G.

You could be right. Most Americans pay their taxes with a bit of grumbling. Rich ones grumble a lot and pay what they can't avoid.

I read in Russia & Greece there is a lot of tax evasion.

A slightly less-well-known saying about Hillary Clinton: “There are no coincidences.” She didn’t just have a lucky run in the cattle-futures market, her billing records didn’t just show up in the West Wing, and Dorothy’s house didn’t simply land on her sister because of a freak accident. I’m sorry, that joke was uncalled for. But you do have to wonder what blind people think of Hillary Clinton when all they have to go by is that voice and that laugh.

So here’s a free tip for Hillary: the next time you smear your opponents by comparing them to dictatorial regimes, trying picking regimes you aren’t currently kowtowing to.
