McCain was a lame pick. We should have been able to do better. Still, he would likely have been far better than what we wound up with for the past 8 years. Also far better that what the Dems are offering this election cycle. It would be great if Julie would actually engage in dialog. I don't understand why one side is so willing to have dialog, but the other side is so unwilling. OK, I do understand it. I wouldn't want the debate if the facts of the world were so stacked against me. That's why I gave up being liberal. I don't understand why people cling so dearly to such failed policies. | ||

Well, in fairness, if I put myself in a position where I was trying to debate that social security obligations are irrelevant to discussions about the national debt, I would probably just be a chicken and spout some incorrect media meme and run away too. Millionaire Nancy Pelosi told us it's great to not have jobs so we can devote all our free time to art. Millionaire Harry Reid wouldn't allow a budget to be passed, so he would have no limits on how much of Julie's money he could spend on people who bribed him. Millionaire Barack Obama told us we could keep our insurance when his staff knew two hundred million Americans would not. Millionaire web developer paid large bribes to Barack Obama to get a $ billion from Julie's children to fail to make a working web site. I wasn't fond of him as President, and neither were a LOT of people, right or wrong, so he lost. Not even sure you could call him the Establishment guy, unlike Jeb, the younger malleable scion of a powerful political family. McCain was selected to be the loser by the Obama Campaign, who figured they had zero chance of beating Hillary in New Hampshire, so voted to boost McCain. Brilliant, eh? Hard even to call that evil, it's just smart use of the law. ( unlike a great deal of illegal vote fraud committed by Obama Campaign, but that's the past, and no one will ever prosecute him for it, it's not the American Way. ( aka, if we do it, the other guys will do it to us, later, so it's best not to let little things like that ruin our cushy jobs, right? ) Most of the rest of Julie's stuff is false too. Not all. There certainly is an echo chamber that either side in the ideological war lives in a great deal of the time. If all you do is listen to Rush, or NPR, you only get the same bs shoveled over and over. Smart people listen to both, and use rational judgment to pick and chose. I don't completely agree with the video. His thesis is flawed imho. However it is good enough to predict the future. Who here couldn't predict the response of a few who cannot discuss facts?
