This thing looks insane. From the article: Only 61 motorcycles will be built, as always, on a pre-order and money down basis, customized for every single buyer. The 30 “white” version will run you $113,900 (€100,900) a pop, while each of the 31 “black” ones will have you dishing out $119,500 (€105,900). i saw it on A&R earlier today; it looks pretty cool. It actually looks like it should handle pretty well, but I wonder how well that 19" front tire will do. I haven't found any stats on the weight so far; if it's not a porker, it should be a pretty impressively performing motorcycle. |

There are a few of those Confederate contraptions that show up at the Rock Store from time to time. Cool to look at and admire the machining and such. But, IMO, even in person, they don't appear to be "riding" machines. For looking, I'm more impressed with bikes made before 1920. |

I get bored by most bikes newer than the '90s. There are many exceptions, but it is what it is- cruisers, tourers, sportbikes, and ADV types. Most of these design types are pretty homogenized, going into 2015. I'd like to get a 1st person look, maybe a test ride of the new Indian Scout. |

Kinda reminds me of some of H.R. Giger's tamer work. FWIW, the more severe work he did could produce vivid nightmares- he was the guy who designed the aliens in "Alien". Now I wish I'd made plans to attend Vintage Days at Barber this year- circumstances and fundage prevent it this year, maybe next year. All I gotta do is point my front tire down TN411 out of Mur-vil, stay on it as it changes states, and c'est voila, it'll poot me out in Leeds, AL. THAT'S where you'll see the best, most interesting designs. Next year, fo sho. |

"This thing looks insane". Agreed. Which is why I would never buy it. It's art for some who have the idle money. Can't use that bike, don't even wish I could have it. |

So many things I like about that, and so many that I hate about it. No big deal, dont have 100+ grand to drop on a bike lol |

You may or may not like the looks, but at least it seems like a functional motorcycle that should handle, accelerate, and brake reasonably well unlike some of the recent chopper monstrosities. It's got some very cool design features, and who here wouldn't like a 132 cubic inch air cooled V-twin with 170 ft-lb of torque in what's basically a naked bike? Yea, the price is pretty outrageous, but I still think it's a pretty cool piece of hardware. |

After a close look, I prefer the Hellcat Speedster. http://confederate.com/hellcat/ I'm not in the market for an overpriced Ego-bike right now, but the Hellcat has some appeal if it works. Looks mechanical. The Fighter is a bit visually busy with it's textures and windows. WTF does the window under the seat show you? Still, I like it better than the old Wraith. The Fighter is quite Tron-ish. If it had fancy lighting??? As Art, Taste is Taste. |

Well, I like the girder fork better than the one on the Ronin. I would like to see that fork on a Ducati style trellis frame. That would be interesting. There was a post on Kneeslider some time ago about Hossack putting a symetrical girder fork on a Duck. Don't remember how it looked. (Message edited by Ducley on August 24, 2015) |

WTF does the window under the seat show you? Gasoline. The one at the front shows the air cleaner. |

Thanks. I do wonder how long those stay transparent. |

Not impressed. Nothing innovative about it. Looks like they took ideas from other bike builders and slapped them together on that monstrocity. |
