After finding TRump is big on "eminent Domain" having the government take your property and selling it at a super deal to rich guys ( like him ) so they can get higher taxes from a Hotel than you... I'm no longer a fan.

" He said that Trump is a douche bag "

Well, that makes at least one for each party now don't it? Let the games begin.

Trump is a douche bag for sure but I think he's an honest douche bag. Hillary¨ on the other hand raises douche baggary to an art form. My opinion is that she's dishonest, and willing to sell the country down the river for cash in her pocket and power in her hand.

x2.

Trump is definitely not stupid, if you take away the (his) obvious reasons for him running, what is left? Could he be just toying around for the hell of it? Ego? Maybe he thinks... if the current douche bag can become POTUS, why not him? Was there anyone else as popular as Trump is, that became President of the United States?

What about a Trump/Christie - card??

I'm going to give Trump the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure he knows he can't win (probably) but he can influence the tone and substance of the debate. That may be his real reason for running: forcing people to talk about the hard issues that Trump cares about.

Hillary is still just a disgusting douche bag of the first order.

Trump/Christie???? Christie is just a liberal democrat in sheep's clothing. Anti Second Amendment, big government liberal. They only thing I like about the guy is that he occasionally tells the press to p!ss off.

Nope, no benefit of a doubt.

A man who will ask others to steal for him is a thief himself.

Here's an editorial by a guy who seems to like The Donald more than I do.

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/419853/witle ss-ape-rides-escalator-kevin-d-williamson

Not that I'm unhappy having him in the race.

As a gadfly, he can move the other losers in the right direction ( in my opinion ) and be as rude as we really should be to Protected Species like Hillary. And Jeb. So I'm happy he's "running". But I don't think he really is.

Does he have a new tv show coming up? Does he really want one?

Perot split the conservative vote because he ran on an independent party ticket.
As I understand it, Trump is vying for the Republican nomination, and thus can't split conservatives away from the Republican nominee.

Unless, when he loses the nomination race, which is more likely than not, he decides to run as an independent.

lets hope that Trump does not run as an independent,

Most of the candidates I would not vote for, Carley F and Ted Cruse are on my short list for now.

I was disappointed after reading Rubio's site lots of high talk, no definite stuff.

Cruze has a record of accomplishments and a background that says good things.
* I also like Mike H, but I think that a lot of this is going to give the dims plenty of ammo in the fight for the hearts and minds of America.

http://www.pjtv.com/series/afterburner-with-bill-w hittle-56/death-by-dynasties-jeb-hillary-and-disas ter-11068/

So, who benefits from Bush versus Clinton version 2.0?

Well, the Bushes benefit, the Clintons benefit, but most importantly, the entire standing army of lifelong Washington insiders, the Carvils in the robes, and the other lesser houses that have been in attendance inside the beltway since 1988 or 1992 or 2000, you know, ancient history, plus of course, legions of pollsters and advisers and campaign managers and all the rest. You see, the entire insider food chain is pulling for those two dinosaurs and for the perfectly good reason that when you get right down to it, the Washington insider army of Democrats does not fear a Republican president. And the Washington insider army of Republicans does not fear a Democratic president. In either case, they and their incomes would remain secure in opposition and, of course, the circle of life continues. Now, what they fear are the outsiders. President Cruz or President Walker puts the Bush team out of business, or President Sanders or President Warren does the same for the Clinton team. That's why we're being sold this Bush versus Clinton inevitability, and it's also why we already hear about what awesome candidates Chelsea Clinton would be or Michelle Obama would make as well. You see, there's a large dollar value attached to the status quo, and the people with the deep investment in it will do whatever they have to do to protect that investment.

I will tell you one thing about all of this. A Hillary Clinton win would be a catastrophe for this nation, a third act continuation of the stale, useless ideas that have brought us such economic stagnation at home and loss of prestige and power abroad. A Bush III administration, on the other hand, won't do any of that, because Jeb Bush is not going to be the President, any questions?

The very idea that they seriously think the American people will vote for another President Bush in this day and age just shows me how out of touch with reality of 2015 they really are.

I have to give it to Trump. He's turned a Presidential campaign into a $500,000,000 lawsuit that he will likely win.

It's almost enough to make me consider voting for him.

OK, that last part's a joke.

Now that's just rude.

What do you have against feminine hygiene products?

Seriously, it doesn't help to just call names.

Yes, Trump is a clown, that's fairly descriptive.

And I'm ALL for mocking authority, especially authoritarian jerks.

But name calling, it's so.....Clintonian.

Thank you. I just want to keep it civil.

The Hillary campaign already gave us the most accurate description of her in the list of words we are not supposed to use.

Typically leftist tactic to suppress the opposition. In this case..... a study guide to what's bad about her.

Somebody should repost that.

Can I use the word horses&^t?

That's the one that article brings to mind.

I hope that we, as a society, get sophisticated fast with regards to this kind of Orwellian manipulation. I think we are, but I'm not sure if enough of us will get it and act on it at the ballot box before it hits the point of no return (when accurate information really doesn't flow anymore, and the rule of law is lost).

Reep, yes you may.

I use even less polite words for Political Correctness...

Which, I remind you is a Soviet term.

I've noted why I'm not a Trump fan. Simply, while he talks a good fight, he is happy to have Government take your property, on the reasoning that if it can generate more taxes than your hovel, it's a Public Good. Now he favors this where he can buy your property cheap and build a hotel or casino on it, so it's pure greed. ( hard to tell sometimes from good business sense... so for a simple definition, it's when you want a deal that screws the other person, not one that both parties can be somewhat happy with )

We now have 15? politicians making tracks all over the place and filling the air with crud to get the R nomination. So far, Carson looks good, most of the rest are full of crap, and the wildcards, like Trump & Christie, are fun to listen to as they slam reporters and the Administration, but have no rational chance of winning.

We don't need another "nice" guy like the last one, unwilling to attack the other candidate with facts and reason, and we sure don't need another Ross Perot, who was worth listening to fairly often, but acted as a spoiler.

And we sure don't need another Dole, or another McCain.

here's a list, notice how the spoiler third party guys can mess things up.

http://www.history.com/topics/us-presidents/presid ential-elections

I'm all for getting rid of the 2 Monopolistic Parties. I don't see anyway to do that that won't get me put in prison. I can't afford that much ammo, and I lack the charisma to become Emperor by popular Revolution. ( although the Greenies might celebrate me as the one person trying to solve the population explosion. ) : )

Here's what my Governor was up to during the INDEPENDENCE DAY WEEKEND.
Why should WE THE PEOPLE not have access to what is going on in government?
This was a dirty greasy trick attempted by a dirty greasy republican politician.

Gov. Scott Walker's office has confirmed in a statement that it was involved with the measure to change Wisconsin's open-records law to block access to many currently available government documents. The statement was released after Wisconsin Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald (R) acknowledged that Walker's office took part in discussions to slip the changes into a last-minute budget bill. Fitzgerald said the governor's office had specifically cited the volume of requests it receives as one reason for the measure. Another Wisconsin Republican lawmaker, Rep. Dale Kooyenga, the vice-chairman of the legislative committee that included the provision, apologized for his role in allowing it into the budget bill. According to Kooyenga, he had been led to believe the change would put Wisconsin's public records law in line with the rest of the country and federal law; since voting for the measure, he learned that it was actually much harsher.

Late on Thursday night, before the start of the holiday weekend, Republican state legislators in Wisconsin slipped wording into a bill authorizing Gov. Scott Walker's proposed budget that would have blocked access to many public records. This includes records the Walker administration is currently fighting to keep secret, which concern a controversial proposal to rewrite key parts of the Wisconsin University system's charter. Reporters and the governor's Democratic critics immediately suspected this legislative maneuver was an attempt to shield Walker, who is about to announce his presidential bid next week, from greater scrutiny.

On Friday, as the controversy over the provision escalated, Walker at first avoided discussing it. But soon Republican lawmakers who had not been part of the committee that approved the language joined the chorus of critics. Knowing that he didn't even have the support of fellow Republicans, Walker issued a joint statement with top GOP lawmakers Saturday morning stating that the language would be pulled from the budget, at least for now.

Thanks. You can keep him.

If Hillary bails then Andrew Cuomo is going to run imho. The Emperor of New York. I don't like him at all.

Of course it's a remote possibility he goes to prison since he took massive bribes from the same folk the former legislative leader did, but we aren't holding our breath. Far more likely a bunch of "accidents" are happening to witnesses.

Scott Walker is a Coke brothers darling though, we'll see if this derails his planned announcement a week from now. Though there is still the "John Doe" investigations that that are being stifled by many big money groups.

When he was Milwaukee county commissioner his head of staff was campaigning on government time, 20 feet away from him, but he knew nothing about it, supposedly (and that's just the tip of the iceberg).

All government should be as open as possible, and the burden of proof for "closing" something should be on the government and should be a VERY high bar of "beyond all doubt".
