I've read quite a few comments about EBR not producing what the potential customers wanted. After HarLee pulled the plug on Buell, what motorcycles have you purchased? For me it was a replacement 02 X1W for the one I stupidly sold and an 02 Triumph Sprint RS. What do they have in common? Light weight, reasonably powerful, fun to ride, can be pressed into sport touring duty if need be. | ||

Sold my CityX, wasn't riding it too much anymore, plus I don't fold up for a sportbike as well as I used to. I'd LOVE to pick up an S3T, or a Uly- ran into an old friend who's put street legal knobbies on his Uly, was partying with a group at Deal's Gap this weekend, showing them the local trails.  Since 2010... bought a 1978 GL 1100, traded it EVEN a short time later for an 1977 R75/7... I like it when that happens. Been about a year since I got to title and start fixing/painting (by Vern) a 2002 Triumph 955 Sprint ST... LOVE it so far. The Beemer and the Triumph serve very different purposes, and are uniquely fun in their own right. I'd like to acquire a D/S bike, for something totally different, especially here in E TN. Maybe set it up with different wheelsets and gearing to either D/S or 'tard it. | ||

KTM 990 Adventure, sold it and bought a 2013 Yamaha FJR. Took it on a 9k mile trip to Alaska last summer (wasn't that what the KTM was for?) 1981 Honda CT 110 with 1200 miles on the clock. 2000 Blast needing some tlc, for something to do (fun bike) Was waiting on an AX but now I've got my eye on an FJ-09 (160 lbs lighter than the FJR) or a 1290 Adventure because it's a real trick ride. I don't have to make up my mind right now because I sold my house and am leaving California at the end of May. Don't know where I'll end up but it will be out of this crazy state. | ||
