Disclaimer: I was born and raised in Nashville, generally on the east side of Davidson County/West Wilson County, moved away in 1990. Advanced Rider Course (ARC) What it's all About The Advanced Rider Course (ARC) is a relatively new offering from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and Motorcycle Ohio. The ARC is a one-day course that complements an experienced rider’s basic skills and helps with personal risk assessment. It includes a fast-paced classroom segment with several interactive activities to improve perception and hazard awareness. Range exercises enhance both basic skills and crash avoidance skills. Improving braking and cornering finesse is emphasized. The ARC starts in a small-group, discussion-oriented classroom session, moves to the range (parking lot) for riding exercises, and ends back in the classroom.  Just got off the phone with Mary at TWoS, got lodge room #3 set up for Fri/Sat, maybe Sunday if needed- so far it's me and Micah, hopefully Jeremy can make it too! After having my out of office dates (3/19-3/23) in the signature line of my work email for the last 4 weeks, my customer ask me to book travel with them to the UK on that Monday 3/16 for the week. I about spit my coffee out all over the screen this morning. After some quick thinking and a lot of BS, I managed to get them to rethink the travel to the UK and push it out to the 1st week of April. ~ Disaster Avoided ~ | ||

OK- I was sleeping in a bit this morning, got to wakefulness, heard someone ride by on a motorcycle!!! Dang if right now, it's almost 70 degrees, with a little sun! Of course, overnight tonite is when our next winter weather event starts, with freezing rain and temps down to the teens again... Radar shows precip already heading this way, shooting OVER Knoxville- wonder if I could have a few hours of decency from Ma Nature to ride before the crap hits... please, Ma, PLEASE!! Mike, thanks for that glimmer of hope! I was already thinking about my rain gear though... | ||

70 here in L'ville today. Wish I could ride, its a good day for it. Come this Monday my youngest, Cody will be leaving for the Navy. The next week Chili will be here. That weekend will be Glitch Badness. The next week my middle son will turn 24. Ready or not March is here! I'm ready! | ||
