This probably belongs in the music thread.....

But I think we should drop these by the thousands to the Kurds.

With MP3 players preloaded with the best, most offensive tunes for people who make the town fathers of Footloose look like rappers.

Patrick I hate to admit it But it looks like Most of the west and a large part of America have become barbarians.

You know the world has gone crazy when the the pagans and Christians have more in common ethically than the balance of the world.
We disagree on many things but we can have civil discourse and treat each other with respect and kindness toward all.

The only time Europe has known peace is when they hid in fear of the Russians coming thru the Fulda gap to battle NATO
The longer I watch the EU an Islamofacist take over again may be an Improvement! Once the dark ages purge the evil a new age of enlightenment make take place.
Americans Thank God everyday you live here and Pray for better leaders and their wisdom. Evil is afoot in the world again.

A couple of things of note.

The Pentagon sucks, duh.

There were a LOT of Chemical weapons found, routinely, in Iraq. WHY was that not news?

In answer to my above question, because there were people in power that believe that political advantage is more important that the U.S. have a good reputation.

I would compare the Pentagon reaction to Agent Orange to GM and the latest "cheaper to pay lawyers to defend against the relatives of the dead than replace a switch" debacle.

The Iraq poison gas issue is more political and I'm angry on multiple levels.

Still, compared to the deliberate invasion of Ukraine, twice, so far, by the Russians.............

What about that pesky Joint defense agreement our Arka Billie signed with them. So they would disarm their Nukes?

Big problem when the tanks are rolling but Putin is correct on his Obama opinion He is what he called Netanyahu! Hopefully shooting will not happen.

Look at what we "know".

She's probably dead. Even pro liars like Barry and Vladimir get a bit embarrassed when someone they have declared dead goes on a talk show.

Vladimir wants the world to believe Russia killed a terrorist and that terrorist worked with the Nazis he says run Ukraine.

That's all we know.

She may or may not have died in Europe, may or may not have been killed by Russian heroes of the glorious Empire, may or may not have been with one side in the invasion.

It's possible she was killed in Syria, betrayed by her Soviet masters. Or......

We have no proof or evidence one way or another.

Why a Russian sniper? Because it's good press to claim a win in the war against ISIS. Because Vladimir has unmarked Russian troops in Ukraine.

When you deal with people who have honed the art of the lie for over a century you have to be aware that it is More likely a lie than the truth.

http://pjmedia.com/rogerlsimon/2014/11/23/iran-oba mas-biggest-failure-fails-again/?singlepage=true

I make no claim I can think like an Ayatollah. The culture, thought processes, attitudes are completely foreign to me.

But I can see the most obvious truths that accompany Iran becoming a Nuclear Power.

First, Unlike North Korea, which has an ongoing and very successful pattern of threaten, get paid off, repeat, ( with zero bad effect for the leaders, who care less for their own people than a dog does fleas. ) Iran is in a unique moment in world history. Yes, the Mullahs have been successful in keeping power, and yes, like the Kims the Leaders have not even contempt for the people of their land, but unlike N. Korea, Iran cannot play the same game because the Arab King and the surrounding nations will eventually convince the West, or Russia, to take out the Ayatollahs and secure their power in the face of a theocratic enemy. ( differences in Muslim sects are a main cause for murder, and conquest, despite the mixing of sects in International terrorism, like AQ )

The real problem is the current occupant of the White House is not going to stop Iran. There is much speculation as to the Motives of his actions, your guess is as good as mine.

So. Iran will have a nuclear bomb, or 3, soon, if not already. ( it's been "5 years until it gets the bomb" for 20+ years, so next week, or last week are equally probable. )

N. Korea can bluff it's Bomb for cash, and does. Pakistan uses it's nuclear capacity to keep India ( and the U.S. ) at bay, and lives in a balance with India's own nuclear capacity... unstable, but still a balance, for now.

Iran has no choice but to demonstrate is has the Bomb. It must establish itself as a Major Player and be able to credibly threaten the surrounding oils States, and Europe.

The obvious demonstration site is Tel Aviv. but Jerusalem is also a distinct possibility.

Of course, I could be wrong. Vladimir may have more influence with Iran than I think, and may be choreographing the timing to mesh with his next , or the next adventure in Empire. ( like taking the Czech Republic )

Have a nice Thanksgiving.

Of the approximately 100 jihadists who have returned to France, 76 are in prison.
And the report said that Britain was known as the global leader in reforming jihadists - so much so that some within the French system were asking to be seconded to MI5 - "famed for their art of debriefing".
"Within the secret services, it's said that British jihadis are more interesting because they have a higher intellectual level than their French colleagues, who are more often donkeys," one expert told the paper.
The story of the French jihadis has parallels with that of an Indian man who spent six months fighting alongside Isis in Iraq, before becoming disillusioned with his job cleaning toilets, and returning to Mumbai.
Majeed, 23, was one of four young Muslim men from Kalyan, a city east of Mumbai, known to have journeyed to the Middle East to join the extremist outfit.
"There was neither a holy war nor any of the preachings in the holy book were followed," Majeed is quoted as saying during his interrogation. Islamic State "fighters raped many women there," he reportedly said.

Since Iran's leaders lie as naturally as breathing, I'd consider this confirmation.

Russia is supporting the Nazis now in Europe.
The invasion of Ukraine has zero press in the U.S.
Russia continues to support Iran & their nuclear program.
After years of wondering why Russia supports jihadi when they are a target in their southern border states, Putin has convinced me he's just waiting until their usefulness in destroying the West is over. Then he'll nuke the whole area and RT news will declare him the hero of civilization. Anyone want to make a bet?

Why worry about the wicked Russians when your country ostracises and starves into submission millions from countries with alternate regimes.

"Alternate regimes"?

Btw, starve to death IS the classic Russian and Chinese technique.

Don't recall us doing that since we used unlimited submarine warfare against Imperial Japan. ( I think my favorite was the sub that torpedoed a train. Or the one that sunk the brand new ship when it was launched in Tokyo bay. )

Funny how in one thread we have a liberal thinker telling us that Cuba is being starved by the US, and in a different thread we have a liberal thinker telling us Che has turned Cuba into an island paradise. I'm not sure either is true.
