Only got the news of this a few hours ago... Wow... To my southern brother from another mother, I'm thinking of you and sending you good vibes and wishing you a fast and full recovery. I know you, and Ann and the boys too, have been through tough times before and got through it all; keep fighting and get through this too! The medical stuff will get sorted but while Glitch is fighting this battle we need to make certain that Ann is worrying about nothing but being there with him. Badweb has a long tradition of doing, quickly and very effectively, what needs to be done. You guys and gals are amazing. Even though we may trade barbs and have differences of opinions . . Just woke up and logged on- dangit, hate to hear of this news. Got to see Glitch and company briefly a few months ago up in Little Switzerland... Prayers and good mojo heading down to beautiful North GA- Christy, Charlie, et al, thanks for keeping us posted. I've got a paypal account but am loath to use it, I'd rather go old fashioned and send a card with a check- anyone here care to put up a postal address that we could use? I also don't do Facebook or Paypal. Is there a real address to sent a check to? Perhaps the Hospital and room? a blind mail box? a bank help fund account? or PM a home address maybe? | ||

Update from Ann: This morning around 5, he began making audible noises, which is GREAT because he hasn't been able to make ANY noise since Sunday night. He said a very clumsy "heeeeey" to me and smiled best he could. He even trying to talk to his nurse when she came in. But around 6:30, he began having seizures. They're not whole body seizures - they're calling them focal seizures. He hasn't made any attempts to communicate since. They took him down for a cat scan so we'll see what the results of that are. He has lost all function of his right side as of this morning. The speech therapist came to see him and decided to wait another day before seeing if he can eat or drink anything by mouth, due to the risk of choking. She said the doctor may do a feeding tube, but we'll know more once that cat scan results are back. The doctors need to have a chance to meet and compare notes. Keep praying Badwebbers! | ||

Yeesh... Thanks Kristi, whoops, sorry but I misspelled your name earlier, hon... I HATE it to hear about the seizures. We had to put our Chihuahua/Jack R. mix on Zonisamide to keep him OK- not much sucks as bad as waking up to your pup flopping in the bed uncontrollably like an electrocuted fish... Back OT- Thanks again for the update. Please keep them coming. | ||
