Your bans days are numbered Whose bans? You obviously don't pay attention. The DOMA is one of the few things I agree with Obama on. I don't agree that he can choose to obey laws if he feels like it, or make them up as he pleases, because that's dictatorial. When The O ran for President, he stated that he was against gay marriage, and for civil unions. The reasons to be for civil unions are many, but just the legal problems of property and hospital visitation merit such a law. I supported such a law. Obama then proceeded to do NOTHING about Civil Unions. Did not ask Congress for such a law, did not lobby for it, didn't give a darn. So, obviously, he just said what he said to appease the social conservatives, and get the Hollywood money and vote. As a tactic of a dishonest man, it was pretty effective. He did, after all, win. Then just before his re-election, Obama changed his mind, Decided he was for gay marriage, and blamed it on his Daughter's enlightening him, and did so with perfect timing to get millions from the Hollywood folk. Obama hasn't done a damn thing about it since. It's pretty obvious that no matter what his personal sexuality, Obama really doesn't care about anyone else. If you disagree with a law, and you are President, you direct your Justice dept. to take it to court, and you ask Congress to change the law. You don't just announce that you are going to make the law up as you please. If you'd like another dozen paragraphs mocking your mental problems, just ask. Don't want to be too long winded. Are you even capable of pointing out a positive aspect of the Obama Administration? | ||
