I had classes in Marxist/Communist/Soviet philosophy, economy, rhetoric and ideology. Including a class on Soviet Realism (ie state sponsored propaganda about the glories of Communism) The difference is that I saw them as the enemy, and wrote every paper to support that ideal Luckily the UofW was a feeder school into the CIA, NSA, FBI, DIA, ONI, OSS, ACID, NRO, DMA and of course Attache we were not known for pro-commie love ins in the Jackson School. Our Young Republicans were a team of football players that ate dumb Greek (Frat) Liberals for breakfast Reagan, Bush I, Arnold and Liddy were all sponsored onto campus by our fundraising and request Plus I speak the language - you want to go head to head on the glory of the shining path of the O - bring it. I do love to make truth beat a Liberal ... it reduces them to name calling |

http://www.nationaljournal.com/politics/clintonwor ld-goes-after-the-washington-post-20140311 Is it time yet to start the "I Love Hillary" Thread? And, I haven't got any feedback on this yet, and It's time. My polling place has moved and I have to go sign up again. In NY the Party you are registered as is the Party Primary you vote in. Other than that, ( and the spam you get when you register a different party ) there is no other reason to register in either party. Register Independent, and you get to vote in the Independent Primary..... which doesn't happen. So, Do I register R and vote against, say, Jeb? Or do I register D and vote against, say, Just Joe? Your opinion is very welcome. Thanks. |

This bodes well for the November elections. Let's all join together as Badwebbers and throw EVERY politician who voted for or currently supports Obamacare out of office. Sink outspent Jolly by more than 3:1 for television advertising and she still didn't win. Just remember what this Liar in the White House has done to you and our country. Florida Special Election Results: David Jolly Wins House Seat In State's 13th District AP/The Huffington Post Posted: 03/11/2014 7:49 pm EDT Updated: 03/11/2014 8:59 pm EDT Republican David Jolly has won the special election to fill the empty congressional seat in Florida's 13th congressional district, the Associated Press reports, defeating Democratic rival Alex Sink. source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/11/florida-s pecial-election-results_n_4937751.html |

My polling place has moved and I have to go sign up again. It's the work of the racist republicans, trying to prevent you from voting through subversion and intimidation. |

Sure, of course it is. but that doesn't answer the question. D or R? I know the odds of mine being the vote that changes anything is infintesimal but "no one raindrop believes it is responsible for the flood". |

^ and that is why I had to leave. I knew I was on a list somewhere as a 'radical' for supporting, defending, blogging, and citing the Constitution and the Founding Fathers. I knew it was going to get bad when DHS decided that returning Veterans were automatic carte blanch to be considered threats against the state. ;?/ |

This is the face of the Party that gave us segregation, Jim Crow laws, the KuKluxKlan, class/race/sex warfare....and Obamacare which is attempting to destroy the individual. Bill deBlasio, the newly elected Mayor of New York City, is a Communist who actively worked for the Sandinistas in Nicaragua. In less than two months, he has antagonized ALL people with his totalitarian methods. In other words, deBlasio is a True Democrat, soon to be a new HBO series. Let us join together as Badwebbers and throw these usurpers of the United States Constitution out on their keister.

I hate to say it, but what would this law do that isn't already available? Does it have any teeth if the pResident chooses to ignore this law too? I think this comes into the traditional "we have to do something" mindset, but there's a lack of will to do what our founders put in place. |

This Jerk in the White House simply does virtually everything wrong with his good intentions -> bad result view of the world. Good editorial in today's San Diego UT. No, Mr. President, work doesn’t equal exploitation By U-T San Diego Editorial Board 5 p.m.March 13, 2014 Some of the basic beliefs held by most Americans are viewed with amused contempt by many liberal intellectuals, including the one in the White House. The idea that individual ambition and initiative are the primary drivers of national progress and success is an example; a sneer and a “you didn’t build that” is the response from the Left. It is government, you see, that knows best. And so President Barack Obama, when asked about the economy, boasts about taxpayer bailouts of General Motors and Chrysler, and 2009’s $800 billion economic taxpayer-funded “stimulus” program. Now the president has made it even more plain how he views the private sector. In announcing a sweeping new interpretation of workplace rules that would move millions of workers from exempt status to being eligible for overtime, Obama shows that he sees work as being fundamentally about employer exploitation. Instead of using a scalpel to address real abuses, he takes a bludgeon to a vast list of innocent companies. Businesses already face such risk from lawsuits that they monitor overtime-eligible employees far more closely than exempt workers. Such employees are discouraged from working at home or using job-issued cellphones when not on the clock. Some California companies so fear overtime-related lawsuits that they have made working during lunch a firing offense. But these problems — which hassle and hinder workers nearly as much as their bosses — are just a small part of the negative effects Obama’s overtime rules would create. In companies of all sizes, it couldn’t be more common for overtime-exempt managers to help out with hourly workers’ duties because someone misses work for unexpected reasons. Now that basic attempt to keep a workplace functioning would become legally problematic. For another example, consider the effect the rules would have on an absolutely crucial category of workers: the ambitious go-getters who don’t care how many hours they work because they’re so determined to do a great job and move up quickly. Such workers would suddenly become a legal risk. Why on Earth would our government want to discourage such productive passion? Because it is led by people who fret about income inequality but are indifferent to millions of people making the impoverishing decision to leave the workforce. Because it is led by people who claim to want well-paying jobs but pass a law — Obamacare — that gives tens of thousands of big companies major financial incentives to shift workers from full-time to part-time status. Because it is led by people who look at the feeblest economic recovery in U.S. history and shrug it off as the “new normal” and something for which they bear no responsibility. Thankfully, before the overtime rules can be fully implemented, Labor Department regulatory practices guarantee that we’ll have the vigorous debate over them that the president would rather bypass. But will this lead Barack Obama to have an epiphany over the value of the private sector? We doubt it. You can take the professor/politician out of the faculty lounge — but you can’t take the faculty lounge out of him. |

washingtontimes.com/news/2014/mar/13/-in-corruption-probe-involving-sens-rei/ Sorry, link won't post. DOJ won't prosecute Harry Reid. Or his R counterpart. ( Can't have the President's faithful blocker of votes on House bills in trouble now, can we? I assume protecting the R guy is just necessary to protect Harry. ) No comment from the Dept. of Social Justice. Not invading countries is not a foreign policy. Wishing to demonstrate your sophistication by announcing you are unencumbered by the false historical narratives of the past is not a foreign policy. I tried to dismiss the "Foxies" based on the "blondes with law degree" concept . . then you start reading some of the bios and there are a couple seriously smart gals among their number. I've learned, in my own business, that dismissing someone on the basis of being a good looking woman is poor judgement. |
