Romneycare wasn't what Romney wanted as an end game. It was a patch on a system that was already hosed. The health care system in MA was so screwed up that Romneycare solved more problems than it caused, which was the intent. That doesn't mean we should emulate it elsewhere. We would know everything there is to know about Benghazi 2. Obamacare would be stopped/changed, and/or written to make it better for everyone. (etc etc). 3. Economy would be recovering faster or possibly recovered by now) Amen. If Romney had been elected most people wouldn't even know the word Benghazi. ...Also Fast and Furious would just be a semi-watchable movie. Amen, and amen. I also think, if Romney won,... there would be a lot more bipartisanship in congress. He is a businessman and knows how to negotiate, he is also compassionate. Amen. Myself, I would have preferred Allen West for Pres and ?? (Ted Cruz, perhaps?) for VP, but Romney/Ryan would have been just what this country needs. The lies and treachery would have come to an immediate stop, and Mr. Romney - who some falsely accuse of being "elite" - very likely would have worked for FREE, and darned doubtful he and the missus would be constantly jet-setting around the globe, partying like (and with) rock stars, on OUR nickel. Elite? Dear Leader and the First Lady are spending money - OUR money - like it's going out of style. Sadly, perhaps it is. I realize that a lot of bad things have happened directly under the Obama administration, and he himself is of very questionable background, but the main problem is that the republicans don't like America. It's because of republicans that Obama has to change everything about America that makes it America. I listened to one of his recent speeches during the so-called Shutdown. He is an influential speaker and I even began to believe him about how the republicans were unwilling to negotiate. And then I read the actual news. Lies. Patches A lot of us want the gop to change. I'm not sure the tea party is right on all things, but they talk and walk a more fiscal conservative line than the "establishment" R's. You have some stuff backwards. The budget fight was the tea folk vs. the old guard. The tea folk wanted to stop the illegal funding to let Congress ignore the ACA, but Obama refused. Obama won this one, in large part because of the lies you are quoting. | ||

I would guess it's probably accurate information, presented in a way to leave people riled up. It's his way. To me, The President is only interested in furthering his agenda & anything he can do to distract from opponents or anyone else examining his aims is entirely appropriate as far as he is concerned. It's the oldest con trick in the book. Throw out a few "fish heads" for the opposition to rail about & they will, whilst he forwards his agenda WRT: the important issues affecting ALL of the USA.
