Wouldn't mind at all if this was one of the Hero's that EBR sold in the USA:

I don't know. It better be pretty cheap. Less than 14 hp & 0-60 in 20+ seconds is not too appealing. I had KLX250S, an arguably better bike, and it was just OK. A 150cc bike would be even less so.

It would be like commuting on an XR200, that would be a lot of fun.

shipping etc

If under 2k could be cool though

A 150cc enduro for under $2000 would be very interesting. It would be good for in town commuting, and a fun toy for the dirt. What it lacks in performance it would more than make up for in price.
The real question is whether we could actually get it for that price...your typical scooter costs more than that.

I think if they kept it in the scooter price range it would be awesome.

117mpg wouldn't be bad either!

We can soon find out. I went to the AIM expo today, and spoke with a couple of guys from Hero. They are definitely coming to the US. Soon. They had the Karizma and a another nekkid 250 there that looked pretty dern good for the price point.

Hybridmomentspass, Yea I did a straight currency conversion. I am sure once you add in shipping, and some tariff costs, etc the price would jump. But heck, if it was 2500 or so out the door bet they would sell a bunch

Gee, not quite 40 years ago you could buy a Kawasaki XD400 street bike for just $995. Oops, am I dating myself?

I'm hoping the hybrid scooter is one of the models brought here. Assuming it is highway worthy, it would make a great commuter
