Yeah, there is some truth in your response but there are huge differences. * The President is the Leader of the country with the so called Bully Pulpit. A political party has no such pulpit. Therefore, President Phony is NOT a leader but simply a perpetual campaigner. * The record player is amplified by the complicit MSM. Often just brand loyalty, although Nixon was brilliant in foreign affairs compared to Obama. It's a good question, Please, share your views, since the righty press, outnumbered as it is isn't as fair to Obama as they could be. Many pundits take what could simply be incompetence on this administration's part and declare it malice. For example, it's possible that Obama actually believes everyone is like him, a greedy, vain, corrupt politician and that all you have to do is make a deal to end multicentury holy war. It's not like Obama has any religious commitment to anything other than a sort of vague set of lies, why should anyone else? ( his appreciation for the tactics of his elders, aka Alinsky is much firmer than his grasp of revolutionary zeal. ) And I'm sure that some of his wife's programs have led to the desired results, after all, rationing food to teenagers will result in weight loss! I didn't reply to your request to explain my support for Obama, because I wouldn't call myself an Obama supporter. I've never voted for him. I liked McCain but didn't really care about Romney. I modified the broken record cartoon because I hear the broken "Blame Obama" record quite often, both online and from relatives and co-workers. Sometimes it's valid, there's plenty to complain about, but often it sounds like just blind hate. Example: My fiance was told, by a family member, that we shouldn't go out of the Country for our honeymoon, because of Obama. | ||

I often defend Obama's "57 states" comment. First, he's very clear that there are 60. Second, ( or maybe first, I tend to correct fact errors first ) He was joking. Seriously, watch it. It may be as funny as he ever gets. Was it Obama's fault you shouldn't leave the country? When? After a terrorist alert blamed by AQ on Obama's actions? While Obama was having a war without Congressional approval? During Obama's illegal gun running operations? To a nation Obama betrayed, or annoyed by being a bald faced liar and not following treaties or laws signed by previous Presidents? If non of the above, then your "family member" was probably wrong, and listened to Rush. If you planned a honeymoon in an Islamic country, they may have been right. Obama, who finds the Muslim Call To Prayer that nicest sound he's ever heard, ( or lied about it to curry favor with Islamics ) has a bizarre policy of not ever fully admitting who we are at war with. To be fair, so did Bush. ( the idiot ) This Admin's policy on the "war on terror" ( stupid name, Bush Admin idiots ) is to deny it's happening, while using it as an excuse to impose their will on you. This teaches our enemies, ( the enemy of Western Civilization, that wants to impose a theocracy and control every aspect of your life, if they let you live ) that the US is not to be taken seriously.
