Excellent opinion piece in yesterday's WSJ. Michael McConnell: Obama Suspends the Law. "Like King James II, the president decides not to enforce laws he doesn't like. That's an abuse of power". excerpt: Article II, Section 3, of the Constitution states that the president "shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed." This is a duty, not a discretionary power. While the president does have substantial discretion about how to enforce a law, he has no discretion about whether to do so. The word "Dhimmitude" is found in the new health care bill; so what does it mean? Obama used it in the health care bill. Now isn't this interesting? It is also included in the health care law. Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-Muslim populations conquered through jihad (Holy War). Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-Muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to Islam. Obama Care allows the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia Muslim diktat in the United States . Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be ,"gambling", "risk-taking", and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this. How convenient. So I, as a Christian, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets, including real estate, cattle, and even accounts receivable, and will face hard prison time because I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan will have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health insurance needs paid for by the de facto government insurance Non-Muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize Muslims. The word is not, however the above path of payment and exemption most certainly is; further, under the 'Recovery Act' you should see how much of the Medical EMR/EMH for IT / Customer service and database management is being transferred to Singapore, Dubai, and of course India The PPACA has NOTHING to do with health - it is all a tax architecture based on transactional enforced and imposed derivative consumption. What I find as puzzling is that the employer mandate is not going into effect until after the elections in '14. this is a violation of the law that the democrats rammed down [ perhaps up ] the people. the only question is if it takes 70 years of oppression before it leaves - or we kill it in it's stable : NOW. ? Hey everyone, I don't usually write emails like this, and we don't usually send messages like this to this list. But I just finished reading the draft of a speech the President plans to deliver on Wednesday, and I want to explain why it's one worth checking out. Eight years ago, not long after he was elected to the United States Senate, President Obama went to Knox College in his home state of Illinois where he laid out his economic vision for the country. It's a vision that says America is strongest when everybody's got a shot at opportunity -- not when our economy is winner-take-all, but when we're all in this together. Revisiting that speech, it's clear that it sowed the seeds of a consistent vision for the middle class he's followed ever since. It's a vision he carried through his first campaign in 2008, it's a vision he carried through speeches like the one he gave at Georgetown University shortly after taking office that imagined a new foundation for our economy, and one in Osawatomie, Kansas on economic inequality in 2011 -- and it's a vision he carried through his last campaign in 2012. Watch that history here and see why this moment is so important. All of these speeches -- Knox College, Georgetown, Osawatomie -- make clear that since day one, the President has had one clear economic philosophy: The American economy works best when it grows from the middle-out, not the top-down.
