Any law with a "sunset provision" should never have been passed in the first place.

Actually, I believe all tax law levied should have "sunset provisions". This would force lawmakers to re-evaluate programs and figure out how to pay for any and all expenditures.

This and a balanced budget amendment.

Oldog, bear in mind that Ayers, a proud mass murdering terrorist, thinks George Washington should be tried for war crimes.

In fact he thinks all US Presidents should be tried for war crimes. "Blood drenched" is quite ironic from him, since he has happily admitted to bombings, anrcho-communist beliefs, and a deep hatred for America. He's now in the Ed dept. Wonder why schools suck? Ayers helped.

He was never convicted, because they messed up the prosecution, but proud. In an interview on Sept. 11, 2001, he said his only regret was not killing more pigs.

I suppose his Comrades who died making bombs to be used on US troops at a dance are not a regret at all.

He still likes Obama, he started Obama's political career in his living room. He's worked extensively with Obama giving away other peoples money. Served on the same committee at the Woods fund.

Babysat Obama's children. Helped connect Obama to the Socialist New Party, ( Obama was a card carrying member ) and Acorn. Also a tutor for Obama in civil unrest, blackmail, and corruption.

Quite the guy. His wife is even worse.

Oh, and Obama now says he's just a guy he met. ( on that scale, Michelle is a chick he knows. )

bear in mind this article is actually favorable to Ayers.

Yes, in the Words of Barack Obama, 'Judge me by the people with whom I surround myself.'

I think we should.

These are the people Obama supports?

But of course, I'm not in the information loop like Obama. Neither are you.

In fact, he's sure all of us are ignorant. He has a point. None of us know what his grades were, who paid for his schooling, what the heck he's doing supporting Jihad, or why he's decided to go to war with the Russian Empire.

I think it highly likely Putin thinks very little of Obama. The superbowl ring incident seems to be a con job by this admin. to slam Putin.

The third Eurasian Land Bridge will cross 20 countries in Asia and Europe and have a total length of about 15,000 kilometers, which is 3,000 to 6,000 kilometers shorter than the sea route entering at the Indian Ocean from the southeast coast via the Malacca Straits. The total annual trade volume of the regions the route passes through was nearly US$300 billion in 2009. Ultimately the plan is for a branch line that would also start in Turkey, cross Syria and Palestine, and end in Egypt, facilitating transportation from China to Africa. Clearly the Pentagon’s AFRICOM and the US-backed Arab Spring unrest directly impacts that extension, though for how long at this point is unclear.

Not every major international player is pleased about the growing linkages binding the economies of Eurasia with western Europe and Africa. In his now famous 1997 book, “The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy and its Geostrategic Imperatives”, former Presidential adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski noted,

“In brief, for the United States, Eurasian geo-strategy involves the purposeful management of geo-strategically dynamic states…To put it in a terminology that harkens back to the more brutal age of ancient empires, the three grand imperatives of imperial geo-strategy are to prevent collusion and to maintain security dependence among the vassals, to keep tributaries pliant and protected, and to keep the barbarians from coming together.”

The “barbarians” that Brzezinski refers to are China and Russia and all in between. The Brzezinski term “imperial geo-strategy” refers to US strategic foreign policy. The “vassals” he identifies in the book as countries like Germany, Japan and other NATO “allies” of the US. That Brzezinski geopolitical notion remains US foreign policy today.

The prospect of an unparalleled Eurasian economic boom lasting into the next Century and beyond is at hand. The first sinews of binding the vast economic space have been put in place or are being constructed with these rail links. It is becoming clear to more people in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Eurasia including China and Russia that their natural tendency to build these markets faces only one major obstacle: NATO and the US Pentagon’s Full Spectrum Dominance obsession. In the period prior to World War I it was the decision in Berlin to build a rail land link to and through the Turkish Ottoman Empire from Berlin to Baghdad that was the catalyst for British strategists to incite the events that plunged Europe into the most destructive war in history to that date. This time we have a chance to avoid a similar fate with the Eurasian development. More and more the economically stressed economies of the EU are beginning to look east and less to their west across the Atlantic for Europe’s economic future.

Y'all may remember how LTC Allen West's congressional seat was stolen from him last November in Florida in a breathtaking display of blatant vote fraud by Elections Supervisor Gertrude Walker & Crew.

THIS is an interesting development in that story:

http://youtu.be/qCryp2kG7xc

True the Vote, an organization relentlessly oppressed by the IRS since 2010, has been trying to unearth the truth behind the claims of vote fraud in the West/Murphy race. A conservative cynic (such as myself) can easily see why the left has put up so many federal roadblocks between True the Vote and the truth.

Question: If we can't have honest and fair elections in this country, why even bother??

Living Rich and Famous, Obama Style
If Not for Double Standards... The $100 MILLION Family Vacation

By Mark Alexander · June 20, 2013

For all the class warfare rhetoric spewed by Barack Hussein Obama and his NeoCom cadres, he and his co-conspirator, Michelle LaVaughn, live like royalty.

Their let-'em-eat-cake lifestyle is even more contemptible, however, when one considers that it comes at the expense of those whom they purport to represent.

For all the references to "fat cats," it turns out the fattest cats of all now occupy the White House, and much like their record accumulation of national debt, their unmitigated arrogance and bloated hypocrisy exceeds all that of previous executive administrations combined.

Perhaps there are no better cases in point than the Obamas' exotic resort vacations and golf junkets whilst the rest of the nation exercises austerity measures necessitated by the regime's failed economic policies.

This week, Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha hitched a ride on Air Force One to the G8 Summit in Northern Ireland. Then MO requisitioned Air Force Two so that she and her entourage could spend two days touring Dublin and the surrounding area. Once there, MO, her 11- and 14-year-old kids, and 30 members of her retinue set up shop in the lavish 5-star Shelbourne Hotel, where she booked the $3,300-per-night Princess Grace Suite.

By day, they hobnobbed with glitterati, lunching over Dalkey Lobster and Crab Salad or Road Rack of Wicklow Spring Lamb with such notables as U2 singer Bono. By night they were treated to royal boxes at theater performances such as "Riverdance," where Michelle told an adoring crowd, "It is good to be home."

Conde Nast, leftist travel magazine of the rich and famous, devoted a special section under "Bigwig Vacations," to Michelle's travel plans, noting, "It looks like she has taken a leaf or two from our 'Iconic Irish Itinerary.'" The Huffington Post Style pages opined under the heading, "Michelle Obama's Ireland Trip Wardrobe Is Making Us Jealous," then gushed about her "awesome printed Lela Rose vest, an on-trend Burberry trench coat and a covetable utility jacket."

Isn't that special.

Michelle's two-day $5.2 million side trip, however, was a mere slum tour compared to the Obamas' next taxpayer funded junket -- a "heritage tour" of three nations in southern Africa the week of June 26 to July 3, with an estimated cost between $80 and $100 million.

Beyond the five-star accommodations, this Africa tour will put an enormous burden on the Air Force. In addition to the already-huge operational cost of Air Force One, USAF cargo planes will airlift 14 limousines and 42 support vehicles, including three trucks with sheets of ballistic glass for the royal family's hotel windows. Helicopters will be ferried in along with the largest Secret Service team and support network ever. The entire trip with be under 24-hour cover of Air Force fighter jets, and a large Navy presence will be maintained off the east coast of Africa in case of any security or medical emergencies.

Source, more: http://patriotpost.us/alexander/18752

I'd like to see the 0bamas' rock star, perpetual-campaign-tour lifestyle broken down into "Federal Taxpayer Lifetimes" (FTLs), i.e. how many average American federal taxpayer lifetimes will it take to fund just this one trip?

They're spending OUR money like it's going out of style (which, sadly, may be the case).

quote:

Writing about the opulence of this administration in "Presidential Perks Gone Royal," author Robert Keith Gray notes that $1.4 billion in taxpayer funds was spent on the Obamas last year, including "the biggest staff in history at the highest wages ever" and Air Force One "running with the frequency of a scheduled air line."

One point four frikkin' billion dollars, in 2012 alone. How many FTLs is that?

Rant on the lavish lifestyle.

http://www.pjtv.com/?cmd=mpg&mpid=56

Nice discussion on Civility.

http://www.pjtv.com/?cmd=mpg&mpid=56

I'm not going to bitch about B & M having such a billionaire lifestyle. We can afford it, and it's a really hard job.

I'm not even going to complain about the First Nag, and her telling children to eat sensibly, while she has ribs, foie gras, pickled hummingbird tongues, whatever. I have zero expectations of humility or any hint of awareness of hypocrisy, no matter how blatant.

Nor need I comment on Barack's sequester, and his using his own targeted cuts to punish America, while refusing to target cuts to do his job. A power offered, and rejected, because the actual, illegal targeting, maximizes the propaganda effort against his enemies.

What I will comment on is the nature of unearned "wealth". What is unearned is not appreciated, and the level of lack of appreciation is breathtaking.

Barry's now a millionaire, and earned it with a combination of speaking engagements, and ghost written fiction books. If I don't get upset that some sports star signs a multi $ million contract, Obama's star power in getting paid to read teleprompter speeches other people write can't upset me either. I don't mind a penny he's received from the book sales, since making it as a writer is part of the American Dream. ( and one of the all time great songs, by the Beatles )

What I can be upset about is the perception on my part that these are people who have assumed a superiority to others based on a series of popularity contests, a great deal of outright lying, illegal money transactions, voter fraud, and illegal tricks.

We have a Leader who has earned his position with less legitimacy than Kim Kardashian. And I have no idea why she's famous.

On a scary note, we now know that Obama's campaign used fake signatures on primary election petitions. So did Hillary, but when the smoke finally cleared, 5 years later, it turns out he was not the legit candidate, she was. I have little doubt that Hillary would have defeated McCain, and so, in a "more perfect" world, she, not he, would be President.

I personally don't agree with the lady on pretty much anything, except that Bill is a jerk, and I'm certain I'd be bitching up a storm about her decisions these last 4+ years.

But I've also read her college Thesis, feel reasonably sure she'd have a far more coherent foreign policy, and doubt she'd adopt the Cloward-Piven tactics in current play.

Also, her "laser like focus" on "creating jobs", unlike Obama's wouldn't involve telling us how awesome she is then going to play golf.

Balanced against "what difference does it make!!!??" about her and her boss lying through their teeth to us........ like I said, scary thought.

this guy ran on glitter and unicorn-farts, AND either by a corrupted election or the blind stupidity of uninformed voters who think that the Presidential election is a popularity contest we have them again.

perhaps Now "we the informed", need to be documenting this kind of crap, and digging up the crap on Hillary / billy the initial indications are that "What difference does it make" is going to make a run in '16.

Lets have the documented truth, I plan on becoming active locally. These democrats [ socialist elitist traitors ] need to be removed from office, and exposed for the Traitors that they are.

Me I am growing tired of talk, I want to take some sort of constructive action..

My Christmas wish is

for barry and joey to be impeached and convicted of treason over Benghazi,
Then led from the WH in chains,

Holder to be Impeached for F&F / perjury ,

Lehner to be fired and jailed for the targeting,
Reid to be removed from his post as majority leader, miserable henchman traitor that he is.

we can dream .....

since the NSA is reading this
Buck Ofama, and all traitor Democraps who further his destructive agenda,

HE is the biggest threat to America since binlahadin

RANT OFF

On a lighter note I had a glorious ride home on the 1125 in the "golden hour", of sun set, the route to and from work is a lovely 40 minutes of smooth, quiet slabs with some pleasant vistas and cool sweet copses. Tomorrow I am having lunch with my daughter Dawn ( helmet was requested ) so in the end its still pretty good.

So for today SCREW barry joey moochelle, and all the rest of them.

Time for a stogie and then the rack later bro...

We can afford it? since when?

Knew that one would get a rise.

Barry's sure we can afford it as he is living M. Thatcher's comment. He's already spent all your money, your children's money and now your grandchildren's money. He shall be as a plague upon even the 4th generation.

I've also been following the Dream Act/Dem Voters Act of '13 debacle. It's enough to make you believe Geedee's crazier conspiracy links. ( though the truth on how certain banks rip you off is bad enough )

An estimated 33 million additional D voters and welfare "victims" are going to move in if this passes, to add to the estimated 20 million current criminal trespassers, and we have 90 million "not in the labor force" unemployed. Meaning that they are not counted in the soundbite "percentage" lie now called the Unemployment rate.

So, "we" certainly can afford for Barry and Michelle to party hearty. You may not be able to feed your family without help from foodstamps, ( up again! A Grand Success Story in more dependency ) charity, or hunting. ( presumably poaching with a rock, based on Second Amendment and anti-hunting trends ) But the millions of new illegals will boost the donations to Obama's campaign from greedy exploiters.

Besides, all Obama has to do to afford another lavish vacation is to cut some more military funding. It's not like we're going to have another undeclared war, right? Right?

Judging from our new allies in Syria, I would guess that Long Pig will be acceptable as a diet choice here soon, and we'll have plenty of old folk to choose from due to the Affordable Care Act. ( sarcasm notice. Soylent Green isn't just a movie, it's the Future! )

Near as I can tell, from the official govt. numbers, unemployment has risen fairly steadily ever since Barry got into D.C. If I wasn't lazy I'd plot a graph, but the numbers are plain. ( I did SPC for years, and translate tables into graphs mentally by habit. )

The interesting number is the "Persons not in the labor force" stats that show massive increase as Barack took power, and trend upward.

http://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.t16.htm

You can also play with graphs, dates, and numbers here, and elsewhere.

What is Barry famous for?
A speech at the DNC.
Calling Bill Clinton Racist.
Having fame purchased for him by persons unknown. ( cough, Soros )
I guess he's kinda the Paris Hilton of politicians without the talent.

That's my wish, too, but I'd rather not have to wait until Christmas...

Sadly, ain't gonna happen unless we retain control of the House in 2014 and take back control of the Senate (which I think is quite possible). If we impeach 0bama now (and we have plenty of reasons to do so), it goes nowhere in the Senate (like the last time we impeached a scoundrel president) and the scoundrel carries on, politically unscathed, still treated like a rock star wherever he goes.

All the ingredients for a repeat of the 2010 midterms are still in place, even more so this time. I doubt there's a single Democrat who thinks they can legitimately hold onto the Senate next November.

And if Dear Leader loses the Senate, well, you probably get your wish.

What to do?

Hmmmm, maybe declare martial law.

I hope you're right. The jury members, as of yesterday, have been selected in his trial. CNN, according to a source, was already instigating race riots in their "news" coverage of the trial yesterday. I don't watch CNN, so I have to take my source at his word, but watch for the race-baiting vitriol and rhetoric, particularly from the racist hacks at MSNBC, to ramp up quick. The MSM, at the direction of Dear Leader & Crew, are gonna work this trial for all its worth.

What do you think the reaction will be if Zimmerman is ultimately acquitted?

Back to that Wonderful First Lady. Michelle snubbed the wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping during his recent US visit. This is a breach of protocol and the FLOTUS actually has a job to do given that the US taxpayers give her a huge budget.

In the era of Obama's Sequestration, why would Michelle take a separate vacation from her husband and stay at a $3300/night hotel while school children can not visit the White House?

Something is very wrong here and this Wonderful person smells like Marie Antoinette. We are one day closer towards their removal from power and the sooner, the better. I thought Carter, Clinton, and W were bad, but the Obama's live in a murky, smelly swamp.

Unfortunately, I believe that means that the old farm bill, the one enacted a few years ago, will continue to be law. They didn't stop the subsidies, they just kept the old ones.

A Farm Bill Primer: 10 Things You Should Know About the Farm Bill
By Daren Bakst and Diane Katz, May 14, 2013

Key Points
1 - The "farm bill" is a misleading title for this recurring legislation. About 80 percent of spending in the 2008 bill is dedicated to food stamps and other nutrition programs.

2 - There is a wide range of market-distorting subsidies affecting farm policy that include income support, price controls, operating and land ownership loans, insurance, and disaster relief.

3 - This is a particularly vital time for reform. Federal spending must be reined in, and the condition of agriculture is extremely strong. Net farm income (what farmers earn after expenses) is at its highest levels in 40 years.

4 - Meaningful reform includes considering food stamps and agriculture programs in separate bills, creating much stricter eligibility requirements for subsidies, and imposing caps on crop insurance premiums.

5 - Congress should eliminate flawed programs such as direct payments. However, it should not then replace those programs with something as bad or worse. Congress should consider the farm bill in terms of net reform.

1. What Is the Farm Bill?
The “farm bill” is a misleading title for this recurring legislation. It is really a food stamp bill that also includes agriculture subsidies. The vast majority of spending—about 80 percent in the 2008 bill—is dedicated to food stamps[1] and other nutrition programs.

Congress has expanded the farm bill over time into a costly compilation of disparate programs. Along with agriculture and food stamps, the legislation includes dozens of forestry, conservation, energy, and rural development programs. This amalgam of special interests resists meaningful reform.

The first farm bill, the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1933, was a New Deal response to severely depressed commodity prices. In the depths of the Great Depression, farm products were not selling, of course, and the excess supply undercut their value. The goal of the act was to raise prices by restricting production of corn, wheat, cotton, rice, peanuts, tobacco, and milk. Farmers were paid to keep fields fallow with funds generated by a tax on food processors (a levy later deemed unconstitutional by the U.S. Supreme Court[2]). Taxpayers have been on the hook ever since.

We are not looking at the bigger picture. The so-called "Arab Spring" started with a dude getting killed in Tunisia. The instability of the Middle East political structure is unraveling from this seemingly trivial event.

We are 100 years out from World War I which started slowly, beginning with the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand. Alliances and old hatreds slowly erupted until the whole world was at war.

I fear the same is happening to us in 2013. We can't see the forest for the trees but events primarily in Egypt and Syria with Russian and Iran in the background are leading us to a world wide conflagration.

I hate to be gloomy gus but our leaderless President isn't making things easier with his empty rhetoric and indecision. He could have smacked Iran hard in the 2009 Iranian uprising. The whole world knows that the guy has no spine over Benghazi and is more interested in shifting blame away from himself at the expense of American self interest.

I see the next generation of Americans decimated on the battlefield because of our insistence on political correctness. We simply are incapable of learning from history or our own mistakes. We will pay dearly and the Liberals have a huge bill coming due when this happens with full payment.

They will not accept responsibility, nor will they be held accountable. It's not true for their blunders now. Why should it be so in the future?

We are going to send troops to Egypt to guard the Israeli border? Why does that seem wrong and backwards to me? The Jihadi President of Egypt & the Socialist President of America seem allied against??????

Gitmo.

I've never understood this kind of thing. I can see the use of a non violent hunger strike to try and alter public opinion. I can even admire, a little, the dedication of the hunger strikers, Accepting the pain and possibility of death for a cause, is a tiny bit noble. Freaking out about it and force feeding, IV's, etc. has always struck me as foolish. It's often a tantrum that deserves no action by the authorities. But, perhaps I'm just not as caring and sensitive as I should be. It's usually a good idea to try and avoid creating martyrs. But in the war between Jihadi and Civilization, martyrs are everywhere, so frankly, who cares? I would let them starve themselves into unconsciousness.

BTW:

Treyvon got him self shot by going back,
George got him self in trouble by chasing the kid armed, Very bad judgment,

NONE of us know what truly happened that night, only what we've been spoon-fed by the (mostly corrupt) media. Hopefully the truth comes out in the trial.

I spent a lot of time following multiple sources on this including FOX who probably has it closest to right. I tried to boil the situation down to its simplest points.
Zimmerman has been railroaded onto the alter of the Gun control mallet heads.

I bet there may have been covert DOJ actions related to this the whole thing fails the sniff test.

Several versions of that night have Zimmerman back at his vehicle and Martin confronting him there, If the kid had gone on his way, it would have been the end,
If Martin had killed Zimmerman there would not have been any national coverage.

The left are the !@#$%@#$%!@ racists.
