Nobody really reads the parts wanted thing. I need a part. The shift linkage arm that bolts to the transmission shift-shaft on a XB. My son and I are going to Homecoming together and i need this part for his bike. Also a bashed up or trashed Jardine system I need for parts. Thanks, Brian |

one of these will work in a pinch. We had a rider break the linkage at one of the WV Buell Rallies. Couple bucks at the local hardware store had him back on the road for the weekend and the the trip home.

I'll bet Al & American Sport Bike can hook you up. Or, if you are short on time; maybe you could mod a Sportster shift lever? |

I couldn't find one on American Sport Bike. There's this though: URL deleted - buy from Al (Message edited by hootowl on May 09, 2013) |

Oldog's 4th law of the Buell garage when in doubt, Call AL... The bottom line If Al has it you will have it before most dealers even order it.... At the same or better price, AND you help support the community .. |

And in a pinch any old gear shifter cut down and drilled and tapped would probably work. |

Precision Engineering makes the part pictured (the custom anodized shift pivot), and they were willing to go the extra distance when I was buying parts for both my XT and my (ex) wife's Ss. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They're also a board sponsor. Here's the link: http://www.preeng.com/xcart/product.php?productid= 15&cat=0&bestseller=Y |
