Noticed a few nice trucks among BadWebbers, thought it might be interesting to see them in one place.

Was "just looking" on E-bay, and found this today... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1997-FORD-E350-7-3- POWERSTROKE-DIESEL-VAN-4X4-/130785194937?pt=US_Car s_Trucks&hash=item1e7367b3b9 Not a pickup, true. I've been a van owner on and off ( with minivans in between ) forever... This is very close to the ideal. I've seen better, but it's rare. |

Here's my last one, I'll be shopping for another truck late next year or early in '14. If anybody finds a Dodge Warlock going cheap, let me know.

I've got a '92 Toyota 4 banger ext. cab that I just rolled 88K on last month. It belonged to my wifes grandmother who bought it new in '92. She beat it to death on the farm but the interior is spotless. It's great for running limbs out to the burn holler and bringing back firewood.
I've also got an '82 F100 with nice patina needing a fuel pump.

Wasn't a Power Wagon, that would have been a 'W' series. It's a 1968 D100, with a 318ci smallblock. Edelbrock performer intake with a 650 Holley 4 barrel carb. Hedman tube headers & dual exhaust with cherry bombs. Torqueflite 727 tranny with a B&M ratchet. Only thing it didn't have was a locker rear end, which made things "interesting" at times. No power steering & unassisted drums all round meant planning ahead. Sold it to a guy in Paris, a mate said he saw it being driven last year when he was passing through, & the guy had a grin a mile wide same as I did when I owned it. Got no room here, but we should be moving again next year for Madame's work again, & I have stated FIRMLY that the next house WILL have a full sized & equipped workshop/barn/toybox, & I WILL be buying more toys. I've always fancied a "Warlock", the nasty brother of the "Little Red Wagon". The other possibility is an early 90s pre RAM Cummins powered truck with the extended cab have to be a D or W 250 though, as the 350 is too heavy. |

Built it w/my dad. 69 front clip w/a 95 step side. Had to cut about ~16in out of the frame to get the box to fit. (Message edited by orman1649 on October 22, 2012) (Message edited by orman1649 on October 22, 2012) |

No-rice... Those were 22x11 Driv Blitz's on my mega-cab. You can still get them, but they are pricey. I think 22x11s were almost $500 each when I bought them. |

What kind of drive train did it have? Nonexistent I'm afraid, that was the second thinking. Everything else was extra clean, old, but clean. I'm surprised you didn't see it, it was on HWY129 in between Gainesville and Clermont. They had a 50 Buick Special sitting there as well. Alas both have been sold. I'm probably better off though...sigh...

I had an 81 diesel VW pickup, I should have never sold it! Spiderman had a pickup, a Dodge if I remember. I have a 97 F150 4X4 with an extended cab and 8ft box. It was most recently used as a tree service truck by my youngest son. Now I am using it as a stump grinder truck needing lots of TLC. |

Here's my Sport trac I bought new in 07. Two more payments and it's all mine. Clapper guy is is bit understated for how stoked I am to get this thing paid off. Then I can start saving for a new AX! |

Current truck: 01 Ram 2500 turbodiesel, 215k miles, 6 speed stick, totally bone-stock and staying that way. Dead-nuts reliable and gets 18mpg hand-calculated towing that car trailer up and down mountains
Last truck: 05 Ram 2500 diesel. Sucks she got it in the divorce, but if all it cost me was a truck...lol
And sorry Vern...I think I gotya beat here for "manly":
Her dad kept the Deuce, then he broke it. If I had any use at all for it again....I'd email and offer to buy it from him. Sadly, I have zero desire to maintain yet another vehicle that won't get regular use. |
