quote:

Biden Hasn't Changed A Bit
Steve McCann, Oct 12, 2012

I had the misfortune to meet Joe Biden in the mid-1980's. There was the perfunctory handshake and exchange of the usual few words when politicians greet people they do not know personally. There have been a few occasions over my lifetime in which I have met various individuals and was overcome with an immediate dislike and distrust. Joe Biden was and is one of those people. I cannot recall meeting anyone more disingenuous, smarmy, and phony.

Over the years I have watched Joe in action in the Senate and in my neighboring state of Delaware. He has more than lived up to that first impression. His actions in the vice-presidential debate, while surprising to many, were what I expected. Joe Biden in the debate was no different than he was in his days as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee or the Foreign Affairs Committee. His treatment of Clarence Thomas and Robert Bork was beneath contempt as Biden deliberately humiliated and denigrated both men through the use of lies and innuendo all the while exhibiting his toothy grin and smirk.

Perhaps he and the Obama team were determined to get back in the good graces of the Democratic Party base, and to some extent they may have succeeded. However, there will be one overriding remembrance of this so-called debate and that will be the antics of Joe Biden, who is more than willing to play the role of fool and hatchet man as assigned to him by his leader. A role he has willingly played his entire political career.

November 6th cannot come soon enough as this nation can finally rid itself of one of the slimiest and most dishonest politicians to ever cast his shadow across the political landscape of the United States.

Does this surprise anyone? Alinsky tactics, right out of the book.

RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

This it waaay to creepy; I was singing that very song to myself last night as I was listening to the "debate", doing the dishes.

Saw this quote by the President yesterday concerning the upcoming debate,"Let Joe be Joe." Indeed. Vice President of the United States Joe Biden, the pseudo Joe Pesci character of the outfit, a self serving group of ineffective elected leaders and officials. Nothing but a house of cards, I'm voting to knock it down.

This one is dedicated to you Mr. Vice President -

I will not comment on Bidens' debate performance,

On Lybia...

But yesterday’s hearings in front of the House Government Oversight Committee are encouraging others to join in.

They certainly confirm three damning facts about our Secretary of State.

First, she and her Washington minions ignored repeated direct calls for help with security in Benghazi, including from the ambassador himself, and warnings about a possible attack on the anniversary of 9/11. According to the State Department’s security chief Andrew Wood, getting “security in Benghazi was a struggle” without end.

Twice the man in charge of security for our diplomats in Libya, Greg Nordstrom, begged the State Department for more security in Benghazi after no less than 48 security “incidents” there, including two bombings.

Washington, however, said no. Hillary Clinton wanted to preserve the illusion that all was fine in Libya, especially on the eve of the November election. She had her minion Charlene Lee, assistant head of international programs, tell Nordstrom that State wanted “to normalize operations” in Libya and to “reduce security resources.”

In the end Ambassador Stevens had to trust his life to hired local security–who, we now know, led the killers to Stevens’s hiding place where they could torture, and murder him.

Second, by blaming the Stevens murder on a video instead of Al Qaeda terrorists, she and the president deliberately deceived the American people and the world.

Hillary paraded this falsehood in two very public speeches on September 12th after the attack, and again on the 14th–even though the word was out within 24 hours that the killings in Libya were the result of a terrorist attack.

Her own State Department’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research dubbed the murders acts of terror from the start, and never considered the online video a factor. “That was never our conclusion,” officials now say.

Fact Check: Top Ten Worst Lies by Joe Biden in VP Debate

Joel B. Pollak, Oct 12, 2012

Once again, Joe Biden lied his way through a Vice Presidential debate--just as he did in his contest with Sarah Palin in 2008. This time, the media caught a few of Biden's worst "malarkey" moments--as did his opponent, Paul Ryan, when he could get a word in edgewise.

Here are the top ten worst lies told by Biden during the debate:

One other odd thing about Biden's points. When discussing the attack in Libya, he basically pointed the finger at our intelligence agencies for being clueless to the situation. Later while discussing Iran and nukes, he laid claim that through those same intelligence agencies, we know exactly where Iran is in it's nuclear program. It's tough to have it both ways unless you are a progressive lying sack.

When Biden threw the intelligence community under the bus I could just about hear the DC cries of protest from my living room in Ohio.

Maybe I read too many Tom Clancy novels, but of all the groups to throw under the bus, especially when you are lying, I'd put the intelligence community right behind the Navy Seals as ones not to do it too. Geesh. A dangerous tactic by Joe.

Kennedy left men to die on the beach during the Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba.

His inaction lead to the Cuban missile crisis. I have often wondered why Kennedy was killed I believe it was pay back for leaving those men to die. His claim to fame was PT109 When you think about it how does a 50+ knot boat get run over by a 22 knot at most pos japanese destroyer. Unless the crew is either drunk or sleeping. So his claim to fame was losing his Command without firing a shot.

quote:

Biden Throws Intel Community Under Bus
Jonathan S. Tobin, Oct 12, 2012

...In response to a pointed question from moderator Martha Raddatz about what he and the president knew about the Benghazi attack, Biden threw the intelligence community and the State Department under the bus. The vice president claimed that the story the administration put out about the terrorist attack on the consulate and the murder of the U.S. ambassador being part of the fallout from a controversial anti-Muslim video was the fault of the intelligence they were given. But rather than put the issue to bed, it raises even more troubling questions not only about the security disaster but also about the lack of leadership shown by senior administration officials, including the president. It also contradicts State Department testimony and other comments from intelligence officials that they knew it was a terror attack within 24 hours of it happening.

It's often a stinky, vile minefield reading comments on the political-junkie sites I frequent, regardless of whether the site leans right or left.

Much of it is simply rude, crude and disgusting, but occasionally there are gems to be found, written by folks who don't drag their knuckles when they walk, and who can actually string sentences together in a rational, coherent fashion.

These folks, I suspect, live in fly-over country and cling to their guns and religion.

And they speak from the heart.

My kind of people, in other words.

Here are several shiny nuggets I found while rummaging around in one of the political outhouses today:

quote:

I wanted to respect Biden. I knew he speaks without thinking. I knew the media treats him like a clown, but I reasoned that he couldn't have achieved his position in life without some smarts. Why they would want to make him look like a clown, I supposed, was to make Obama look better by comparison. Respecting him was important to me since I believe if Obama wins another term, he will be impeached, and Biden will be the president until the term ends. So, even though I disagree with his political platform, I wanted to have some modicum of confidence in him.

It took perhaps thirty seconds into Ryan's first response to realize, to my horror, that Biden is a dim-witted, raving, maniacal bully. I was horrified by his behavior, horrified that he finds things like trillion dollar deficits, high unemployment, nuclear arms, and dead ambassadors so amusing, horrified by the realization that the media treated him like a clown to cover for the fact that he is a despicable excuse of a human being. He bulled his way into his position, not out of smarts, but out of a rude, arrogant belligerence. He bulled his way through the debate, not out of a knowledge of the issues, but out of that same rude, arrogant belligerence.

By contrast, Ryan showed a thorough command of the issues, a seriousness of purpose, and remarkable grace under fire. While I would have liked to see him show more assertiveness with that ridiculous excuse of a moderator, I think he showed himself as the better man to lead.

quote:

An interesting point was brought up about last night's debate. People who only listened on radio came away with the conclusion that Biden was aggressive and in a sense won the debate according to many especially on the left. But I watched it on TV and wittnessed Biden's off the wall treatment and contempt for Ryan, if he shows that kind of attitude for his political oppent then what do you think he holds for you and I? It was at once infuriating, demeaning, and insulting to have the man interupt congressman Ryan 82 times. To sit there with that huge smile on his face like the Cheshire cat just proved that VP Biden and the president not only hold anyone who differ in contempt, but all of us like we are stupid and beneath them. The more I see Paul Ryan and listen to him, the more I like him. Unlike his democratic opponent, he does'nt name call, he does'nt show undeserved disrespect, and he does not act like a teenager who's had too many Redbulls. He is professional, polite and shows me that he IS vice presidential material. I vote absentee by mail, and I voted this morning for the only two men fit to be our next President and Vice President.
Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. Joe Biden and his sarcastic disrespectful boss can go home.

quote:

Damage Control???????? Does the Obama campaign actually think that Biden was over the top????? He was coached by Axelrod.
First, I admit I am a Romney-Ryan supporter. That happened due to the policies of this Big Government-Big Brother administration. That said, I was extremely put off by the disturbing behavior of Vice President Biden within minutes of the debate. As it wore it, it appeared to be a deliberate strategy hatched by the Obama campaign to belittle Ryan and stick the LIAR label on Romeny and his campaign.
If anything, I am more energized today, than even last night. Last night I was angry. Today, I am pissed. Not only was Bidne's conduct an insult to Ryan, but it was an insult to every Ameerican. Politicans are suppose to be hired by us to follow the consent of the governed. Biden displayed arrogance and elitism that are hallmarks of this administration. Election day can not come too soon!!!

quote:

Well, the split screen told the tale. After 30 minutes I couldn't take any more and I'm a political junkie. The vast majority of viewers that tuned in for an intelligent debate saw an absolute idiot in Biden and a younger guy trying to keep his cool and not bitchslap the guy next to him.

I would hazard a guess that a large portion turned the debate off and drew the same conclusion that I did: Biden is a heart beat away from being president and that is extremely scary.

quote:

I was looking forward to a 'good' debate last night, rather excited.. watching Biden's antics, having him interrupt.. and seeing the moderator give in to him, repeatedly.. annoyed the living hell out of me..

However, I was watching it with a friend who had no cule what Biden was about and they clearly indicated that they were annoyed, put off, and he seemed to be trying to do the "You have no idea who you're talking to, boy" routine..which smacked of ignorance and took away from anything he said..

So then I thought hm. Great performance. Thank you Biden! As I recognized that independents right now just had anothe rreason to be irritted and not move towards Obama.

quote:

Prediction 1: Biden steps down within the week to take care of a "sudden and serious personal health threat" and to "spend more time with family" ... Enter Hillary to step in and "oops!" fail at saving Bammy's bacon (>> her payback opportunity for how O. treated her since 2008, and also to set up a challenger run in 2016)

Prediction 2: TEA party influence puts Republicans in the White House, gains seats in the House, and takes the Senate. No one trusts the media anymore, which is fine since R-squared doesn't either; they take their messages directly to the people and the state-run dinosaur leftwing media is as done as their empty chair. Romney-Ryan's 4 yrs are so successful -- repealing Obamacare and making a huge move against the terizts right out of the gate, then over their 4 yrs lowering taxes, gas prices, and the unemployment rate to 1.6% -- that they are easily re-elected in a prosperous and strong America 2016.

quote:

While the laughing and jeering were odd enough. I found his character changes even more bizarre. One minute he was howling with inappropriate for the content laughter, the next he was using a fake solemn NPR voice describing some topic that was supposed to illicit sorrow.

He manically jumped around a mental check sheet making sure he hit on every topic he was coached to hit on. Funniest of all, you could tell he'd forget he was supposed to be laughing at Ryan and then suddenly remember and start the court jester crap in earnest.

I was speechless watching such an odd spectacle. Again, I am left wondering what kind of loser would ever associate themselves with the Democrat Party?

quote:

The very best part about last nights debate was, after watching a totally helpless obummer without his teleprompter get so badly beaten by Mitt Romney, any remaining hope that intelligent Democrats may have held for their party, were completely dashed upon the rocks; and not so much by Ryan, who did an incredible job against 'TWO FOES"; but the debate was lost by Biden himself.

Biden's antics cost the democrats to lose countless democrats who may have voted for obummer, but now in sorrow will vote for Mittt Romney....sorrow because they were finally able to see between the two debates, what abject failures they have leading their party.

Many Democrats were hanging onto Obummer and Biden only out of loyalty; but now they are able to see that there loyalty belongs to America first; and they must vote for Romney/Ryan if our country is to stop this downward spiral we are now in.

quote:

This was hardly a debate. Biden rudely interrupted 82 times and Martha pitched in another 31 times. That works out to Ryan being interrupted nearly 3 times in every one of the 40 minutes he had in the so called "debate".

No... this was not a debate. It was Biden's attempt at being an OWS thug trying to shout down someone else.

The distraction of the grinning pompus azz was so shocking that it completely obliterated any substantive content in what was being said. Biden would have been better placed out in the audience as an obnoxious drunk heckler.

To use Biden's colorful language... this was a big cluster effing.... and that is exactly what he intended to do. Mission accomplished.

quote:

When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty. Thomas Jefferson

The Obama administration clearly believes it has a right to rule. It does not fear its people. Look at the performances of both Obama and Biden. They were both arrogant and elitist. There was the sense of entitlement. How dare you challenge my right to rule!!!!!!!!

It is time for the American people to restore the balance in our system. Politicans serve at the consent of the governed. The Obama Administration does not believe this. The American people to protect themselves against lawless administration MUST toss them out. If they do not, the US will become the Big Brother society as written about in the novel, "1984."

All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent. Thomas Jefferson

Amen, brothers and sisters. Amen.

"And a war was started, and a CIA agented was outed as part of a coverup."

You have a very poor memory. Who "outed" the agent? Was the agent even "outed" since she was no longer active in the field? No one was charged with outing her, despite having a special prosecutor appointed. If charges were warranted, they would have been levied.

But you knew that. You are perpetuating a myth.

Garry, you must not have paid much attention. There was not cover up. That is one error. Scooter Libby did go to jail. His crime was being unsure about when he first learned about the "outing". The actual person responsible for the "outing" turned out to be a Democrat and was never prosecuted, simply because it didn't fit the agenda. It's sad when someone goes to jail because they didn't remember exactly when they first learned about a "crime", but you let the person who committed the "crime" go free.

...thought there were WMDS in Iraq.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Chemical_weapons _Halabja_Iraq_March_1988.jpg

That IS in Iraq.

There are also the chemical agents found by the UN investigators. Thousands of Tons. Seals were placed on the Bunkers. Then. We pulled the investigation out of Iraq. When the UN investigators went back in, that stuff wasn't there, anymore. Saddam claimed he'd destroyed it all, but, oddly had no proof, at all.

There is the testimony of the Russian General who ran the Spetsnaz troops in civilian clothes that they moved multiple truck convoys of chemical weapons to Syria.

( A nation Know to have chemical weapons... many of those weapons have recently been moved. Is Assad's plan to keep them safe from the rebels? Or use them on the rebels? On Turkey? He's already torqued off the King Of Jordan, who insists the truckload of chemical weapons that WENT OFF in Jordan was Assad's plot to kill him. Abdullah II is supposed be be quite a nice guy, for a king. You may have met him on a ride. Look for hogs with submachine guns on the riders backs.... )

You can repeat lies all you want. But I dare you to look at the picture above and tell me Saddam didn't have WMD's.

We still don't know where they all went.

But I guess that doesn't bother you, since those "dead people" must be actors since there were no poison gas weapons.... Nice job, cat. Oscar quality work there.

People who only listened on radio came away with the conclusion that Biden was aggressive and in a sense won the debate according to many especially on the left.

Heck, I KNEW Biden was full of it, and he came across as bullied by the lies of Ryan. When I finally SAW the video, totally different experience.

On NPR streaming live, it would be easy to think Biden the lied about one. Seriously. If you didn't know certain statement were false, you'd buy it.

Also, the pictures posted.... Biden was level headed, steely gazed, jaw firm but unclenched, respectable and noble. ( with soft blue background.... ) Ryan was head down, mouth open in a vowel, looking aggressive, mean, and loud. ( with a mottled Red background... vaguely reminiscent of dripping blood.... )

Biden's lady looked attentive, calm, and centered. Ryan's lady had her head back at an angle, and a smile that could only come from a victim of the Joker's Smilex poison gas.... Hideous. Terrifying.

Oddly, can't find those pics today. How strange.....

From 2001 to 2005, Libby held the titles of Assistant to the Vice President for National Security Affairs and Chief of Staff to the Vice President of the United States[3] and Assistant to the President during the administration of President George W. Bush.

In October 2005, Libby was indicted by a federal grand jury concerning the investigation of the leak of the covert identity of Central Intelligence Agency officer Valerie Plame Wilson.[4][5][6] Plame's relationship with the CIA was formerly classified information.[4] Libby was indicted on five counts relating to the Plame affair: Two counts of perjury, two counts of making false statements to federal investigators, and one count of obstruction of justice. Libby resigned all three government positions immediately after the indictment was announced.[7]

In the subsequent federal trial, United States v. Libby, the jury convicted Libby on four of the five counts in the indictment (one count of obstruction of justice, two counts of perjury, and one count of making false statements) and acquitted on the second count of making false statements.[8][9] The day after his conviction in that trial, he resigned his later appointment as senior advisor at the Hudson Institute (January 1, 2006 – March 7, 2007).[10][

Mark Levin: When Biden was being a jerk to Paul Ryan, he was being a jerk to you!

Mark Levin didn’t hold back in his response to Joe Biden’s pathetic debate performance last night. But the bigger point he made was that when Biden was being a jerk to Paul Ryan, a man who has actually come up with budgets and ideas to get us out of our fiscal mess, he was being a jerk to you.

Listen to his excellent monologue below:

It's Bush's fault.

In 2012, Britain will help the Iraqi government dispose of what is left of Saddam's chemical weapons. The teams will work to safely destroy remnants of munitions and chemical warfare agents left over from Saddam's regime.

The jerk who outed V Plame? Dep Sec State Dept Richard Armitage, under Powell.

That was actually KNOWN before Scooter got convicted of telling multiple stories that differed in minor details in multiple interviews. The actual guilty party never was prosecuted.

A whole bunch of fracking clowns,if you ask me... ( and THAT"S bipartisan! )

Correction.

The Chemicals in the truck that was detonated in Jordan did not appear to have nerve gas, but the chemicals used to MAKE nerve gas, ( Which are poisonous... but not like VX ) the truck detonated early, and Jordanian Intelligence claims it was an assassination attempt sponsored by Assad.

Scooter. How a guy with that nickname got into the White house.... Oh, Frat boy. Like Kerry and Bush. ( but not Obama... I wonder if that's the real root of Obama's anger? )

Anyhoo... not defending the jerk, ( he Was a lawyer ) but If I asked you questions over and over again for months, I bet I could find inconsistent bits. If I was on a witch hunt, and had the power, you'd get convicted too. I don't know the guy, but he did not Out Plame. Truth matters.
